Local Marketing USA
All books published by the New York office are marketed to libraries worldwide through book reviews, new book bulletins, and conference displays. The New York office also promotes its textbook list to professors for classroom adoptions using email, direct mail, and a variety of other promotional tools. We produce a multidisciplinary catalogue twice a year featuring the latest education, media & communication, and Black studies books for classroom use. Our books are available through Peter Lang and most major library wholesalers.

Journal Packet- This Journal Packet includes scholarly journals that publish book reviews. The journals are grouped by Discipline, for easy reference. A journal may be listed under more than one Discipline, but you only need to choose it once. Please choose up to twenty-five journals to which you would like review copy notification sent and return this packet to us at your earliest convenience. You may print this packet out and return to us by mail or email us your selections. Please note that our journal packet is updated about five times a year - you may have a printed version that is slightly different than the PDF document below.
Print promotion
- Multidisciplinary Textbook catalogues: These catalogues are produced twice a year for our US textbook list and are distributed to professors, librarians, journals, and conference attendees.
Conferences
- Our US publishing group attends and displays at conferences such as the American Educational Association, National Communication Association, National Association of Multicultural Education, Society of Biblical Literature and more. Our list is also represented at Frankfurt Book Fair and at other international book fairs.
Wholesalers
- Our books are available through most major library wholesalers. Advance book information is sent to major library wholesalers worldwide. Wholesalers distribute this information to their customers (mostly acquisitions librarians) to facilitate ordering of Lang books.
