%X This exemplary and readable study is of interest to a far wider audience than might perhaps be anticipated, given that it is concerned with a single part of a little-known text from the very end of the Middle Ages, a translation from English into Cornish made in the 1570s. The text stands, however, on the border between the medieval Church and the Reformation, and the edition and its contextualization (based here on some surprising discoveries) raise questions relating to linguistic, historical, and theological dividing lines.
