%X George A. Gonzalez demonstrates that Georg Hegel (1770-1831) is the philosopher of the Enlightenment and of science. Analytic philosophers consider themselves philosophers of science. Gonzalez shows that Hegel philosophically grounds the Enlightenment, whereas the “science” of analytic philosophers (scientism) results in the anti-Enlightenment (genetic political reasoning). Karl Marx (1818-1883) placed class conflict at the center of the Enlightenment. The series Andor (2022—) brings class politics/repression to the Star Wars franchise. Hegel, Marx, and Star Trek are about the science of justice.
