%X The history of the Manhattan Theatre Club is the realization of a long-standing dream. From very humble beginnings, the MTC has gained recognition as one of the preeminent producing organizations of drama in America today. The recipient of many accolades, including several Tony Awards, Pulitzer Prizes, Obie Awards, and Drama Desk Awards, among others, the MTC in 1996 is expanding its reach out to new playwrights and new audiences.
