It seeks to establish intertextuality as a method by which one can profitably examine the biblical texts. By applying this method, the study argues that the speeches in Job deliberately employ references to biblical texts – both from Job and from other books – in order to present a debate concerning divine righteousness. %K references, speeches, divine righteousness %G English
