  • Studies in Church History

This series in church history offers a place for diverse scholarship that is sometimes too particularly calibrated for any other publishing category. Rather, the richness of the Church History series is in its scope, which variously mixes historical theology and historical hermeneutics, doctrine and practices of piety, religious or spiritual movements, and institutional configurations. Western Europe and the United States continue to provide grounds for exploration and discourse, but this series will also publish books on Christianity in Asia, Africa, and Latin America. Traditional periodization (Early Christian, Medieval, Reformation and Modern eras) grants maximum representation. The particular focus of the series is the treatment of religious thought as being vital to the historical context and outcome of Christian experience. Fresh interpretations of classic and well-known Christian thinkers (e.g., Augustine, Luther, Calvin, Edwards, etc.) using multicultural perspectives, the critical approaches of feminist and men’s studies form the foundation of the series. Meanwhile, new voices from Christian history need illumination and explication by church historians in this series. Authors who are versatile enough to “cross-over” disciplinary boundaries have enormous opportunity in this series to reach an international audience. • Lingue e Culture / Languages and Cultures / Langues et Cultures

    ISSN: 2235-6363

This series, edited by the Department of Language Sciences and Foreign Literatures of the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan, intends to publish scholarly reflections on the languages and literatures taught within this Languages and Literatures Faculty. The series is rooted in a tradition of studies which are both philologico-literary and linguistic - a combination of approaches designed to be both rigorous and complemen-tary. The themes of the series will focus on linguistic, stylistic and literary studies re-lated to both European and extra-European cultures. The series will include mostly mo-nographs and doctoral thesis. This series has been published by LED Edizioni Universitarie since 2016: https://www.ledonline.it/Lingue-e-culture/index.php

  • Musicology and Culture / Musicología y Cultura

The "Musicology and Culture" series promotes innovative research exploring the evolution of music and its role in various historical and cultural contexts. The series considers different facets, including the diversification of source material and document conservation, the diversity of genres, styles and musical institutions, musical and rhetorical analyses, music theory and thought, coetaneous responses and receptions, organology and music iconography, musico-literary relations, gender studies within a musical context, and paleographic transcriptions. Designed for both a general audience and scholars in the field, the series will comprise works (including essays, monographs, conference proceedings, and critical editions) that represent substantial scientific developments in musicology. The editors and editorial board will collaborate with international scholars and support the research of young musicologists.
