Die Reihe Innovatives Wissensmanagement führt Theorie und Praxis zusammen, indem sie dem interessierten Publikum aus Wissenschaft und Wirtschaft nicht nur fachtheoretische Arbeiten, sondern auch innovative Konzepte, neuartige Lösungsansätze für aktuelle Herausforderungen sowie anwendungsbezogene Fallstudien aus den verschiedensten Branchen zur Verfügung stellt. Herausgeber Bernhard F. Seyr, Jahrgang 1976, ist Professor an der Alexandre Lamfalussy Fakultät für Wirtschaftswissenschaften der Universität Sopron. Er promovierte in Bildungswissenschaften an der Paris Lodron Universität Salzburg sowie in Sozial- und Wirtschaftswissenschaften an der Johannes Kepler Universität Linz. Danach habilitierte er sich in den Wirtschafts- und Organisationswissenschaften an der Universität Sopron. Außerdem ist Seyr allgemein beeideter und gerichtlich zertifizierter Sachverständiger beim Landesgericht Salzburg in den Fachgebieten Pädagogik und Wirtschaft. The Belt and Road Initiative

The Belt & Road Initiative (BRI) is perhaps the largest global project of both domestic significance and global import proposed by China in the history of its interactions with the world. Since its unveiling in 2013, BRI has not only been embraced by more than 120 countries spanning across all the continents and endorsed by several dozen international NGOs including UN on one hand; it has been drawing an outcry or resistance by some big powers such as the US and India on the other hand. Why is all this occurring? What are the real intentions, real results, real potential and possible risks, and future fate of BRI? Despite the growingly enormous amount of discourse both mediated and nonmediated including thousands of think tank reports about it both in Chinese and other languages such as English, Russian, German, French, Italian, Japanese, Spanish and so on, relatively little scholarship has been produced on BRI so far. However, the BRI studies could be arguably the newest China/Chinese studies and the newest area/regional/global/globalization studies all in one. Therefore, it is the goal of the present book series to advance knowledge about both China and the world from perspectives of various disciplines such as political science and economics, sociology and anthropology, communication, and so on. While proposed volumes from specific disciplines are desirable, proposed volumes on multi-disciplinary, interdisciplinary and trans-disciplinary perspectives are especially welcome in the vetting process. This book series aim to produce both monographs and edited volumes from a variety of disciplinary perspectives such as economic science, political science, communication, sociology and anthropology, and so on and interdisciplinary/trans-disciplinary lenses such as area studies, international/intercultural, and global/globalization studies. Business and Innovation

The creation of new activities, of news production and consumption modes, of new goods and services, of new markets and new jobs (etc.) depends as much on the heroic action of entrepreneurs as on the strategies of big corporations which develop their activities at a global scale. Innovation and business are interlinked. The main themes of the books published in this series are: «Entrepreneurship, enterprise and innovation»; «Innovation strategies in a global context»; «Innovation policies and business climate»; «Innovation, business dynamics and socio-economic change». The synergies between innovative entrepreneurship, firms’ strategies and innovation policies is of major importance in the explanation of technological paradigms change and of the transformations in economic and social structures of wealthy and less wealthy countries. In this series are published books in English or in French specialized in economics, management and sociology of innovation and also dealing with change and entrepreneurship in a local, national or international perspective. This series is supported by the Research Network on Innovation. This series is directed by the Réseau de Recherche sur l’Innovation. Die Buchreihe Tradition – Reform – Innovation widmet sich Forschungsergebnissen zur Modernität des Mittelalters aus dem Fachbereich der Geschichte. Die Herausgeber sind Professor Nikolaus Staubach und Professor Bernd Roling. Die Reihe umfasst Monographien und Sammelbände. Die Forschungsschwerpunkte der Reihenherausgeber, die sich auch in der Reihe spiegeln, liegen u. a. auf den Formen und Funktionen öffentlicher Kommunikation, der Hofkultur und Herrscherrepräsentation sowie der politischen Theorie im Mittelalter.
