Hybris: Literatura y Cultura Latinoamericanas

Desde la Antigua Grecia y la época clásica, filósofos, artistas y críticos han profundizado en las relaciones entre la literatura y otras artes. Primero fue la pintura y artes plásticas –ut pictura poesis, de Simónides de Ceos y Horacio–, más adelante la música, la arquitectura, la representación teatral, la escultura y ya, en la época moderna y contemporánea, la fotografía, el cine, la televisión, los mass media. En la actualidad este vasto y estimulante campo de hibridaciones culturales y artísticas se ha completado con las nuevas tecnologías y todas las "narrativas transmedia", generando conceptos y actuaciones transversales anejas a la creación digital y a las nuevas realidades comunicativas: touch-media, cross-media, intermedialidad, transmedialidad, hipertextualidad, multimodalidad, etc. Esta colección, Hybris: Literatura y Cultura Latinoamericanas, pretende, por un lado, indagar en el sentido diacrónico que estas relaciones han ido perfilando en el campo literario y cultural entendidos como parámetros estéticos, prácticos, de nivelación y préstamos técnicos entre artes y, por otro, reflexionar desde una perspectiva filosófica, social, cultural y teórica sobre las posibilidades que ofrecen tales hibridaciones, siempre dentro de un contexto latinoamericano. En la mitología clásica, Hybris era la diosa de la desmesura, la insolencia, la ausencia absoluta de moderación, y evocaba la necesidad de traspasar límites. Este nuevo concepto de Hybris pretende insistir en las marcas mitológicas de la transgresión, borrando fronteras entre las artes, sacudiendo la tendencia a la parcelación y a la contención y, a la vez, reclama también la identificación con el término latino hybrida, que alude a la mezcla de sangre. Hybridization and symbiosis between arts will therefore be the outlines and contexts in which these studies will be invested. Relaciones literarias en el ámbito Hispánico

Esta colección tiene por objetivo dar a conocer aportaciones novedosas en los ámbitos de la traducción y las relaciones interliterarias, tanto en lo que respecta a sus aspectos teóricos y metodológicos más generales como a sus plasmaciones en estudios concretos, tomando siempre como contexto de investigación el ámbito hispánico, en cualquier época histórica. Se pondrá el énfasis en las relaciones entre las literaturas ibéricas, las relaciones entre las literaturas americanas y las relaciones transatlánticas, además de la recepción de literatura extranjera en el contexto ibérico, intentando aglutinar un discurso crítico de carácter multidisciplinar que resulte una alternativa al hispanismo tradicional en su búsqueda de un marco auténticamente comparativo e intercultural. La colección acoge monografías, publicaciones colectivas, actas de congresos y adaptaciones de tesis doctorales en inglés, en castellano y otras lenguas peninsulares. Micro y Pequeña Empresa Latinoamericana

The works in this collection are open access and aim to promote and disseminate quality scientific production in the economic-administrative area and related areas, developing research on micro and small enterprises focusing on a particular aspect each year. The relevance of the study contributes to the generation of knowledge for the development of a management model with characteristics specific to the micro and small enterprises in Latin America. The study is applied to owners, directors or managers of these organizations, who make most of the decisions. Musicology and Culture / Musicología y Cultura

The "Musicology and Culture" series promotes innovative research exploring the evolution of music and its role in various historical and cultural contexts. The series considers different facets, including the diversification of source material and document conservation, the diversity of genres, styles and musical institutions, musical and rhetorical analyses, music theory and thought, coetaneous responses and receptions, organology and music iconography, musico-literary relations, gender studies within a musical context, and paleographic transcriptions. Designed for both a general audience and scholars in the field, the series will comprise works (including essays, monographs, conference proceedings, and critical editions) that represent substantial scientific developments in musicology. The editors and editorial board will collaborate with international scholars and support the research of young musicologists. La serie "Musicología y Cultura" promueve obras innovadoras de investigación relacionadas con la evolución de la música y su papel histórico en las distintas culturas y épocas en las que se inscribe. En este sentido se tendrán en cuenta diferentes aspectos que permitan una mejor comprensión de dicho papel: la contextualización histórica, la consideración de las fuentes y la conservación de la documentación, el estudio de los géneros, estilos e instituciones, el análisis musical y retórico, la teoría y el pensamiento musical, cuestiones de recepción, la organología y la iconografía musical, las relaciones de la música con la literatura, los estudios de género o la transcripción paleográfica (en el caso de la música antigua), etc. La serie, pensada para un amplio público pero también para los especialistas en la matreria, ofrecerá distintos formatos (colecciones de ensayos, monografías, actas de congresos y ediciones musicales críticas) que signifiquen un sustancial avance en el conocimiento científico. Los editores y el comité editorial colaborarán con académicos internacionales de prestigio y al mismo tiempo apoyará la investigación de jóvenes musicólogos.

The series provides a forum for interdisciplinary discussion of aspects of a cultural science-oriented economics. Representations of economic relationships in literature and other arts, cultural sociological studies on the relationship between art, culture and economics, linguistics and literary analysis of economic narratives and metaphors, and the importance of cultural studies concepts such as fictionality and virtuality in the context of financial economics are topics of the series. Also, studies on the design and manipulation of spaces, time management and cultural practices are within its scope. Do ponto de vista dos estudos culturais, com foco especial em literatura e mídia, a série apresenta as principais questões e paradigmas dos estudos luso-brasileiros no circuito internacional. Ela também aborda fenômenos significativos das culturas lusófonas que têm recebido pouca atenção até o momento, especialmente a complexa dinâmica e os múltiplos entrelaçamentos das formas de expressão cultural surgidas a partir de intercâmbios transregionais e globais. Neste contexto as dimensões midiáticas das produções culturais são examinadas em suas respectivas configurações, considerando referências intertextuais, bem como contextos sociais, políticos e históricos. Levando em conta a crescente internacionalização dos estudos luso-brasileiros, a série abrange publicações em português, alemão e inglês. Aus kulturwissenschaftlicher Perspektive, unter besonderer Berücksichtigung der Literatur- und Medienwissenschaften, präsentiert die Schriftenreihe aktuelle Entwicklungen und Paradigmen der internationalen Lusitanistik. Sie erschließt auch signifikante Phänomene der portugiesischsprachigen Kulturen, die bislang wenig Beachtung finden, mit einem besonderen Augenmerk auf den komplexen Dynamiken und vielfältigen Verflechtungen kultureller Ausdruckformen, die aus transregionalen und globalen Austauschprozessen hervorgegangen sind bzw. durch diese entstehen. Francophone Cultures and Literatures

The Francophone Cultures and Literatures series includes studies about the literature, culture, and civilization of all French-speaking countries except France, i.e., studies on the Francophone areas of Africa, the French-speaking islands in the Caribbean, as well as studies that deal with the French aspects in Canada. Cross-cultural studies between these geographic areas are also encouraged. The book-length manuscripts may be written in either English or French.

"Estudios culturales críticos con perspectiva latinoamericana" es una nueva serie que presenta temas e indagaciones con referencia a teorías culturales críticas situadas. Estas teorías han sido largamente objeto de recepción en América Latina y han dado lugar a reflexión y elaboraciones locales y regionales. Por teorías culturales críticas entendemos – de modo no exhaustivo – la teoría marxiana, la Escuela de Frankfurt, la ‘teoría italiana’ o las corrientes posestructuralistas francesas, así como los enfoques de género, dirigidos hacia problemas relevantes para el contexto latinoamericano (en el campo de las humanidades y las ciencias sociales). Todo ello en confluencia con la tradición ensayística que ha nutrido una genealogía constituida por escritores – entre tantos otros – como Mariátegui, Martí o Martínez Estrada; así como María Moreno, Nelly Richard, Horacio González o Patricio Marchant. Algunos han obtenido reconocimiento global, otros han permanecido como referencias regionales. Los enfoques propuestos ocupan una posición significativa en las escrituras contemporáneas en diversos países americanos, y no siempre se hallan en los departamentos académicos o las editoriales formulados en estos términos, aunque eventualmente se manifiestan bajo otros rótulos. Sin embargo, forman parte de modos de indagación y escritura claramente establecidos y demandados por la perseverancia de los lectores.

Russian Transformations publishes studies across the entire extent of Russian literature, thought and culture from the medieval period to the present. The series gives special emphasis to the kinds of transformation that characterise Russian, Soviet and post-Soviet writing. Transformation has often been under the stimulus of (and resistance to) foreign traditions. Acts of cross-cultural and cross-literary reception mark Russia's sense of creative development and national identity. Transformation has often been the result of the on-going dialogues between writers working within the Russian literary tradition through polemic and subtle use of intertextuality. Similarly, the stunning political and social changes that have been characteristic of Russian history generated radical transformation in the institutions of literature and in forms of literature from Modernism to post-Perestroika as writers react to official policy on freedom of expression.

The series aims to present contemporary research in the fields of Literary and Culture Studies encompassing the Chinese, Korean, Japanese cultural spheres, and the geographic area of Mainland China and Taiwan, Korean Peninsula, and Japan. Topics of interest include classical and contemporary literature, languages and writing systems, research on historical and modern East Asian cultures, as well as cross-cultural and comparative studies of the region. Of special interest are topics transgressing the traditional boundaries of Sinology, Korean, and Japanese Studies, presenting original, interdisciplinary perspectives.
