Cultural Memories

Cultural Memories is the publishing project of the Institute of Languages, Cultures and Societies, University of London. The Institute is international in scope and promotes innovative research on interdisciplinary approaches to memory. This series supports the Institute by furthering original research in the global field of cultural memory studies. In particular, it seeks to challenge a monumentalizing model of memory in favour of a more fluid and heterogeneous one, where history, culture and memory are seen as complementary and intersecting. The series embraces new methodological approaches, encompassing a wide range of technologies of memory in cognate fields, including comparative studies, cultural studies, history, literature, media and communication, and cognitive science. The aim of Cultural Memories is to encourage and enhance research in the broad field of memory studies while, at the same time, pointing in new directions, providing a unique platform for creative and forward-looking scholarship in the discipline.

This series is named for Martin Luther King, Jr. because of his superb scholarship and eminence in religion and society, and is designed to promote excellence in scholarly research and writing in areas that reflect the interrelatedness of religion and social/cultural/political development both in the American society and in the world. Examination of and elaboration on religion and socio-cultural components such as race relations, economic developments, marital and sexual relations, inter-ethnic cooperation, contemporary political problems, women, Black American, Native America, and Third World issues, and the like are welcomed. Manuscripts must be equal to a 200 to 425 page book, and are to be submitted in duplicate. Studies in Life Writing

Studies in Life Writing: Biography, Autobiography, Memoir welcomes full-length studies of life writing in all its forms: biography, autobiography, memoir, journals, diaries, blogs, and so forth. Dovetailing nicely with the critical theories of the later twentieth century, life writing questions the divide between fact and fiction, challenges the possibility of presenting a life objectively, and examines how the shaping forces of language and memory prohibits any simple attempts at truth and reference. Provocatively, interest in life writing has increased as both autobiographical and biographical narratives have become a major presence on the Internet, and the growth of literary nonfiction has prompted a resurgence of life narratives and memoirs. The series invites both single-authored book-length studies and multi-authored essay collections on the theory and/or pedagogy of life writing.

The series was founded and edited by Anna Wolff-Poweska and Piotr Forecki until the publication of volume 45. Until the publication of volume 56, the series was edited by Barbara Klich-Kluczewska and was given the title Studies in History, Memory and Politics. Zofia Woycicka who is a professor at the University of Lodz, Faculty of Philology, and a researcher at the German Historical Institute Warsaw, has taken over the editing of the series starting from volume 57. Woycicka published amoung others Arrested Mourning. Memory of Nazi Camps in Poland, 1944-1950 (Peter Lang 2014) and co-edited The Rescue Turn and the Politics of Holocaust Memory (with Natalia Aleksiun and Raphael Utz, Wayne State University Press 2024).

Ibero-American Screens / Pantallas Iberoamericanas

This series approaches the Ibero-American audiovisual field—cinema and television—from an interdisciplinary perspective, with special emphasis on studies stemming from Media Studies and Cultural Studies. We are especially interested in those volumes that examine audiovisual production in the Iberian Peninsula and/or Latin America from a comparative perspective. In addition, the collection will include studies on the production, distribution and circulation of audiovisual artifacts in the digital era. Consequently, we include works that explore the relationship between audiovisual media and other fields of popular culture, such as music and sports. We accept both theoretical proposals on audiovisual media and historical approaches that scrutinize a specific period of cinema or television in one or several geopolitical spaces. The series includes volumes on industrials aspects and political economy and reflections on key aspects for the articulation of both national and transnational imaginaries, such as memory and representational templates. The featured volumes can be monographs or collections of essays by different authors, in Spanish or English. Esta colección se acerca al ámbito audiovisual iberoamericano—cine y televisión— desde una perspectiva interdisciplinar, con especial énfasis en estudios provenientes de la Comunicación y los Estudios Culturales. Son de especial interés aquellos volúmenes que examinen la producción audiovisual de la Península Ibérica y/o Latinoamérica desde una perspectiva comparativa. Además, son especialmente relevantes aquellos estudios que aborden las transformaciones en la producción, distribución y circulación de los artefactos audiovisuales en la era digital. Por consiguiente, se incluyen trabajos que exploren la relación del audiovisual con otros campos de la cultura popular, como la música y deportes. Se aceptan propuestas de carácter teórico sobre diversos ámbitos del audiovisual y volúmenes de cariz más histórico que abordan un periodo concreto del cine o televisión de uno o varios espacios geopolíticos. La colección incluye tanto volúmenes que se centren en aspectos industriales o de economía política como reflexiones sobre temas clave en la articulación de imaginarios colectivos nacionales o transnacionales como la memoria y la representación. Los libros pueden ser manuscritos monográficos o colecciones de ensayos de diversos autores, en español o inglés.

ESCENA HISPÁNICA. Estudios de teatro español e hispanoamericano quiere ser un espacio de debate sobre el teatro tanto en España como en los países de la América hispana. La comprensión de teatro que fundamenta la colección es amplia y comprende todas sus dimensiones: desde el texto hasta la escenificación, pasando por las relaciones del teatro con otras artes y el papel que desempeña en la cultura hispánica. Además, la colección atenderá a otras manifestaciones escénicas y parateatrales que desbordan la noción tradicional de teatro como la danza, el circo, el cabaré, la sicalipsis, el teatro musical, etc. La colección publicará tanto monografías como volúmenes colectivos. La lengua prioritaria será el español, aunque se considerarán también propuestas para libros en otros idiomas de uso habitual en el ámbito académico.

Relaciones literarias en el ámbito Hispánico

Esta colección tiene por objetivo dar a conocer aportaciones novedosas en los ámbitos de la traducción y las relaciones interliterarias, tanto en lo que respecta a sus aspectos teóricos y metodológicos más generales como a sus plasmaciones en estudios concretos, tomando siempre como contexto de investigación el ámbito hispánico, en cualquier época histórica. Se pondrá el énfasis en las relaciones entre las literaturas ibéricas, las relaciones entre las literaturas americanas y las relaciones transatlánticas, además de la recepción de literatura extranjera en el contexto ibérico, intentando aglutinar un discurso crítico de carácter multidisciplinar que resulte una alternativa al hispanismo tradicional en su búsqueda de un marco auténticamente comparativo e intercultural. La colección acoge monografías, publicaciones colectivas, actas de congresos y adaptaciones de tesis doctorales en inglés, en castellano y otras lenguas peninsulares. La colección "Artes visuales y sociedades hispánicas" está dedicada a trabajos monográficos o colectivos en español sobre representaciones artísticas de las culturas de los países hispánicos, tanto en España y América como en algunos territorios o comunidades de otros continentes. El concepto de ʻartes visualesʼ incluye aquí toda forma de representación relacionada con la imagen, ya se refiera a artes académicas como la fotografía, la pintura, el teatro y el cine, o a estilos más recientes, populares y/o heterogéneos como la historieta, la novela gráfica, la televisión, los videojuegos, el street art, las instalaciones y otras modalidades de arte libre o efímero, ligados o no a las nuevas tecnologías. Esta colección pretende asociar a una serie de autores de horizontes diversos interesados por la función social del arte actual o tradicional, por la manera en que las representaciones visuales pretenden transmitir puntos de vista críticos, pragmáticos, comprometidos y/o políticos sobre los conflictos a través de los cuales evolucionaron en el pasado o se transforman actualmente las sociedades hispánicas. "The series has been created by Elzbieta Halas and Risto Heiskala in order to stimulate and develop cooperation in research on the meaning, forms and functions of symbolism in society. The series is open to various theoretical and methodological orientations in the studies of social symbolism. The aim of the series is to show the central place of the problems of symbolization and symbolism in sociology - processes of symbolization in everyday life, in collective actions, social movements, organizations, in the public sphere of institutions, as well as in the construction of collective memories and identities, in the construction of the state and the nation, and in international relations and in globalization processes. The series presents theoretical and empirical questions of symbolic power, symbolic hegemony, symbolic control and symbolic politics; integrating as well as transforming and liberating functions of social symbolism in the processes of interactions and communication which shape knowledge, values and social sentiments."

Moving Texts / Testi mobili

Moving Texts/Testi mobili questions Italian memory and identity from the perspective of literary and media studies, providing a forum for discussions on major research topics, including migration and mobility studies, cultural studies, cultural memory studies, film studies, translation studies and studies on linguistic attitudes and sociolinguistic changes. Moving Texts/Testi mobili is open to research conducted within established and emerging fields of investigation. It specifically promotes multi-perspective, multi-disciplinary and inter-medial approaches. The series uses double-blind peer review and is supported by an international advisory board. Proposals in Italian, French or English are welcome both for the main series (monographs and edited volumes), and for Moving Texts/Testi Mobili – Tandem, the sub-series for conjoined essays by two different authors. Potential contributors are invited to submit a book proposal consisting of an outline, a sample chapter and a CV. Only complete manuscripts following the series guidelines are accepted for peer review. *** Moving Texts/Testi mobili　indaga la memoria e l’identità italiana offrendo uno spazio aperto a ricerche su migrazione e mobilità, a studi culturali e sulla memoria culturale, nonché a saggi nei seguenti ambiti: letteratura, media, traduzioni, attitudini linguistiche e cambiamenti sociolinguistici. Warsaw Studies in Culture and Society

"The main aim of this book series is to cross borderlines of traditionally defined fields of studies: cultural anthropology, media and communication studies, sociology, political science, social geography and regional studies, history as well as social psychology. Contributions adopting comparative perspective and focusing on Central and Eastern Europe region are preferred; however other approaches and areas are also welcomed. Hispanistik im globalen Kontext offers an interdisciplinary approach to the Hispanistic world, combining Literary Studies, Media Studies, and Cultural Studies. The publications deal with the investigation and intercultural representation of contemporary culture and intellectual history by taking Iberian Studies, European Studies, Transatlantic and Global Studies into consideration. The major points of interest are the cultures of the Iberian Peninsula, their relation to each other, to Europe, to Latin America, and to cultural processes in a global context. We welcome monographs as well as multi-author volumes. Hispanic Studies in the Global Context is a peer-reviewed book series. La colección Estudios hispánicos en el contexto global. The "Worlds of Portuguese Language" series encompasses different cultural domains related to the Portuguese language without restrictions of thematic, historical or geographical kind. The underlining notion of language is that of a space of deconstruction, conducive to a broader reflection on spatial and temporal correlations, forms of porosity, mobility and exchange within a broad thematic and disciplinary horizon. To promote interdisciplinarity for a global understanding of cultural phenomena is one of our main concerns. From intercultural and plurilingual heritage, and their embodiment of a certain idea of ​​translation, to visual and performing arts, the series welcomes reflections on the text in its different literary modes (whether lyrical, narrative or dramatic) and on inter-artistic approaches which bring together different semiotic systems. Questions arising from postcolonial and postdictatorial memory will put in perspective major research topics related to the representation of the physical and social body, migration and new approaches to pedagogy and teaching. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mundos de língua portuguesa é uma coleção que tem por vocação abordar os diversos domínios culturais em ligação com a língua portuguesa sem restrição temática, temporal ou geográfica. La langue est ici conçue comme espace de déconstruction, propice à une réflexion élargie sur les mobilités spatio-temporelles, les porosités, les échanges et les communications dans un large horizon thématique et disciplinaire. L’objectif est de valoriser l’interdisciplinarité pour une compréhension globale des phénomènes culturels. Die MinGLA-Reihe stellt eine Plattform für Forschung und internationalen Austausch zum Thema germanischsprachiger Minderheiten in Lateinamerika dar. In enger Zusammenarbeit mit dem gleichnamigen Forschungsnetzwerk soll die Buchreihe den Diskurs zum Thema bündeln, aktuelle Forschungsergebnisse präsentieren und darüber hinaus den wissenschaftlichen Austausch zwischen Europa und Lateinamerika fördern. The «Cuadernos de Yuste» series collects the multilingual and cross-disciplinary contributions from the summer doctoral seminars organized by the European Academy of Yuste Foundation on European issues related to those linked to the work carried out by winners of the «Charles V European Award», given every two years. The seminars are coordinated by members of the Economic Governance and European Identity network, which gather German, Belgian, Spanish, French and Italian scholars who are joined by experts on the matters of discussion. The seminars welcome doctoral students, who may thus compare their current research, benefit from quality supervision and contact researchers from previous seminars that constitute the «Alumni from Yuste European Network». The series is open to other collective or monographic works - in German, English, Spanish and French -, that deal with issues studied in previous publications, such as Socio Economic Governance and European Identity; Relations between Europe and Russia in the 19th and 20th Centuries; Portugal and Spain in 20th Century Europe, Translation and Interpretation, or with topics that will be studied in forthcoming seminars. « Cuadernos de Yuste » accueille les actes multilingues et pluridisciplinaires des séminaires doctoraux d’été organisés par la Fundación Academia Europea de Yuste sur des thèmes européens liés à ceux qui marquent l’action des lauréats du prestigieux « Prix européen Charles Quint » qu’elle décerne tous les deux ans. Animés par les membres du réseau « Socio Economic Governance and European Identity » qui regroupe des professeurs d’université allemands, belges, espagnols, français et italiens auxquels se joignent, selon les cas, d’autres experts, les séminaires accueillent des doctorants qui peuvent ainsi confronter leurs recherches en cours, bénéficier d’un encadrement de qualité et se trouver au contact de chercheurs ayant participé aux séminaires précédents et qui forment eux-mêmes le Réseau européen des Alumni de Yuste. Estos seminarios, que están coordinados por los miembros de la red Socio Economic Governance and European Identity (Gobernanza Socioeconómica e Identidad Europea), que reúne a profesores universitarios alemanes, belgas, españoles, franceses e italianos, a los que se unen, según el caso, otros expertos, acogen a estudiantes de doctorado que pueden, de esta manera, confrontar sus investigaciones en curso, beneficiarse de una supervisión de calidad y estar en contacto con los investigadores que participaron en seminarios anteriores y que constituyen la Red Europea de Alumni de Yuste. In der mehrsprachigen «Cuadernos de Yuste» werden die Ergebnisse der von der Stiftung Europäische Akademie Yuste veranstalteten Sommer-Doktorandenseminare veröffentlicht. Diese interdisziplinären Studien stehen im Zusammenhang mit Leben und Werk der Preisträger des «Karl V. Europa-Preises», welcher in zwei-Jahres-Abständen verliehen wird. Die Seminare werden koordiniert von Mitgliedern des Forschungsnetzwerkes «Socio Economic Governance and European Identities», in dem Forscher aus Belgien, Deutschland, Frankreich, Italien und Spanien vereinigt sind. Zusätzlich werden zu den Seminaren gezielt einschlägig arbeitende Wissenschaftlerinnen und Wissenschaftler eingeladen. So können im Rahmen der Sommerseminare Doktorandinnen und Doktoranden aus ganz Europa ihre Forschungserkenntnisse präsentieren und mit etablierten Forschern sowie mit Teilnehmern vorangegangener Seminare diskutieren. Zusammen bilden sie die Gruppe der «Alumni des Yuste-Europanetzwerkes». Die Buchreihe versteht sich auch als Veröffentlichungsort für solche Publikationsvorhaben, sei es als Monographien oder als Sammelbände, die sich mit Themen befassen, welche in vorangegangenen Veröffentlichungen behandelt worden sind: Gesellschafts- und Wirtschaftspolitik und Europäische Identität, Beziehungen zwischen Russland und Europa im 19. und 20. Transamerican Film and Literature

This series publishes scholarly contributions to the growing and ever-changing fields of film and literary studies across the Americas. Written in English or Spanish, the titles in this series include edited volumes, books by single authors, and translations of scholarly monographs. They typically investigate film and literature of the Americas, examining works and trends in relation to form, genre, culture, politics, historiography, and diverse areas of theory. The term "Transamerican" implies transnational perspectives on creative work from all over the Americas, with an emphasis on new assessments of Latin American work, but is not constrained to studies of multiple national cinemas or literatures, and may venture beyond the Americas for comparative purposes. It also encompasses studies of single works or bodies of work from the Americas whose thematics or aesthetics warrant attention from a broad scholarly readership. The mission of the series is to provide a site of dialogue and new collaborations between scholars working on Transamerican film and literary studies throughout the Americas and other continents, emphasizing the region's growing diversity of critical and theoretical perspectives on film and literature. Esta colección estará dedicada a publicar materiales sobre el cine y la literatura que se producen en el continente americano. Los materiales podrán estar escritos en español o en inglés, y podrán ser libros colectivos, trabajos elaborados por un autor individual, traducciones de estudios especializados, así como ediciones o traducciones académicas de textos literarios. El término "transamerican" implica una perspectiva transnacional en los estudios sobre trabajos creativos de todo el continente americano, con énfasis en la región latinoamericana, pero no se limita a los estudios sobre los cines o las literaturas nacionales de múltiples países. Por otra parte, admite la exploración, con fines comparativos, de terrenos que rebasan esta región, y puede incorporar estudios sobre las obras individuales o sobre el cúmulo del trabajo de un solo autor cuyas temáticas o características estéticas merecen la atención de una amplia comunidad de lectores especializados. La misión de la serie es ofrecer un espacio para el diálogo entre los investigadores que estudian el cine y la literatura en el continente americano y en otras regiones, así como enfatizar la existencia de una creciente diversidad de perspectivas teóricas y analíticas. Plural Terminologies / Terminologies plurielles / Terminologías plurales

Over the past three decades, terminology research has known an unprecedented diversification – both in terms of its object(s) and its methods and achievements. Long confined to the field of engineering sciences and techniques, with a strong focus on standardization issues, it is now an interdisciplinary field at the crossroads of language sciences, information and communication sciences, cognitive sciences and Artificial Intelligence. Socioterminology, ethnoterminology, ontoterminology, pragmatic terminology, diachronic terminology, cognitive terminology, corporate terminology, terminology and the dissemination of science, terminology and the societal impact of research ... – only to name a few of the many names and/or approaches used to illustrate how terms and terminologies are now being explored as giving access to domains, internationalization, professional fields, marketing, etc ... . The new Plural Terminologies series is intended as a forum for academic exchange, open to this plurality of approaches, and welcomes monographs (including works resulting from doctoral dissertations or habilitations/professoral theses) or collective volumes (including conference proceedings, after a mandatory in-depth editorial work guaranteeing the coherence of the whole). Strongly committed to multilingualism in research and scientific publications, it does not limit itself to English, but also welcomes manuscripts in German, Spanish, French, Italian and Portuguese. La recherche en terminologie connaît depuis trois décennies une diversification sans précédent, tant dans ses objets que dans ses méthodes et réalisations. Longtemps cantonnée au domaine des sciences et techniques de l’ingénieur, avec un focus marqué sur les problématiques de normalisation, elle est aujourd'hui une interdiscipline à la croisée des sciences du langage, des sciences de l’information et de la communication, de sciences cognitives ou encore de l’Intelligence Artificielle. Socioterminologie, ethnoterminologie, ontoterminologie, terminologie pragmatique, diachronique, cognitive, d’entreprise, terminologie et diffusion de la science, terminologie et impact sociétal de la recherche, etc… autant de dénominations et/ou d’approches multiples montrant combien les termes et les terminologies sont aujourd’hui explorés comme "porte d’entrée" vers les domaines, l’internationalisation, les filières professionnelles, le marketing, etc. La collection Terminologies plurielles se veut ainsi un forum d’échanges scientifiques ouvert à cette pluralité d’approches et a vocation à accueillir des monographies (issues ou non de thèses de doctorat ou d’habilitation) ou des volumes collectifs (y compris des publications nées de colloques à la condition sine qua non d’avoir fait l’objet d’un travail éditorial approfondi garantissant une cohérence à l’ensemble). Fortement attachée au plurilinguisme de la recherche et des publications scientifiques, elle ne se limite pas à l’anglais, mais accueille au contraire aussi des manuscrits en allemand, espagnol, français, italien ou encore portuguais. En las tres últimas décadas, la investigación terminológica ha experimentado una diversificación sin precedentes, tanto en lo que se refiere a sus temas como a sus métodos y resultados. Confinada durante mucho tiempo al ámbito de las ciencias y técnicas de la ingeniería, con una marcada orientación hacia las cuestiones de normalización, se ha convertido en un campo interdisciplinar en la encrucijada de las ciencias del lenguaje, las ciencias de la información y la comunicación, las ciencias cognitivas y la Inteligencia Artificial. Socioterminología, etnoterminología, ontoterminología, terminología pragmática, terminología diacrónica, terminología cognitiva, terminología empresarial, terminología y divulgación científica, terminología e impacto social de la investigación, etc., son algunas de las muchas denominaciones y/o enfoques que muestran hasta qué punto se exploran hoy en día los términos y las terminologías como "puerta de entrada" a los dominios, la internacionalización, los ámbitos profesionales, el marketing, etc. La colección Terminologías plurales pretende ser un foro de intercambio científico abierto a esta pluralidad de enfoques y está destinada a acoger monografías (sean o no fruto de tesis doctorales o otras) o volúmenes colectivos (incluidas las publicaciones resultantes de congresos, siempre que hayan sido objeto de un trabajo editorial en profundidad que garantice la coherencia del conjunto). Fuertemente comprometida con el multilingüismo de la investigación y de las publicaciones científicas, no se limita al inglés, sino que también acoge manuscritos en alemán, español, francés, italiano y portugués.

"Europe of Cultures" is a series of studies, monographs, stories, research projects, reports on conferences and debates devoted to the complexities and changing realities in European societies. It bridges the past with the future at the cross road of challenges and opportunities of the transformation of European societies. The management of changes in societies refers to the interconnection of various dimensions and levels of policy-making impacting on economic, social, political, democratic, communication, philosophical, artistic, religious as well as ethical traditions and behaviour. As an editorial project the series is structured along two interconnected and complementary sub-series: i.e. the "(Europe of) Dialogues" series and the "(Europe of) Living Stories". The sub-series "(Europe of) Dialogues" mainly deals with (cultural) diversities, identity and citizenship building in Europe as well as with the relevant multi-level governance and communication structures in the transformation of European societies. Europe is a laboratory for understanding this multi- and intercultural reality. The purpose is to contribute to a better understanding and communication of the changes taking place by looking at the European societies in general, and the specificities of different national, regional and local cultures and communities in a framework of dialogues. The series presents interdisciplinary and critical views of value-driven and policy-oriented reflections. Moreover, it offers new insights into understanding how to manage, value and communicate cultural diversity, identity and citizenship. It also wants to contribute to the development of new ways of "living together", in which cultures and communities are perceived as binding forces in creative society building. The sub-series "(Europe of) Living Stories" (the former "Mémoires de l’Europe en devenir", Director Gabriel Fragnière) is devoted to inspiring narratives for a broad public with a view to contribute to a better understanding, communication and contextualisation of the newly emerging Europe. It mainly focusses on stories, memories and testimonies of persons, events, institutions and issues that have transformed mentalities, fostered European awareness and finally shaped Europe’s future. These stories serve as important references and communication tools for future developments of Europe in the world. This collection wants to be open and diverse, original and dynamic in its content, method and pedagogy faithful to Europe’s role and reference in the globalising world. "Europe des cultures" est une collection d'études, de monographies, d’essais, de récits, de recherches et de compte-rendu de conférences et de débats consacrés à la complexité et l'évolution des réalités dans les sociétés européennes. Elle relie passé et futur au carrefour des défis et opportunités de la transformation des sociétés européennes. L’étude des changements dans les sociétés se réfère à l'interconnexion des différentes dimensions et niveaux de l'élaboration des politiques, incluant les traditions et comportements économiques, sociaux, politiques, démocratiques, communication, philosophiques, artistiques, religieuses ainsi qu’éthiques. Comme projet éditorial, la collection est structurée en deux sous-séries complémentaires: la série "(l'Europe des) Dialogues" et la série «　(l'Europe des) Histoires Vivantes». La série "(L’Europe des) Dialogues" se concentre principalement sur les diversités (culturelles), l'identité et la citoyenneté en Europe ainsi que sur les structures de gouvernance et de communication multi-niveaux pertinentes dans la transformation des sociétés européennes. L'Europe est un laboratoire pour comprendre cette réalité multiculturelle et interculturelle. Le but est de contribuer à une meilleure compréhension et communication des changements qui ont lieu en observant les sociétés européennes en général, et les spécificités des différentes cultures et communautés nationales, régionales et locales dans un cadre de dialogues. La collection présente des vues interdisciplinaires et critiques axées sur des réflexions des valeurs et politiques. En outre, elle offre de nouvelles perspectives dans la compréhension de la façon de gérer, valoriser et communiquer la diversité culturelle, l'identité et la citoyenneté. Elle veut aussi contribuer au développement de nouvelles façons de «　vivre ensemble　», dans lequel les cultures et les communautés sont perçues comme des forces de liaison à l’égard de la société créative. La série "(l’Europe des) Histoires Vivantes" (anciennement «　Mémoires de l'Europe en devenir　», Directeur Gabriel Fragnière) est consacrée à des récits destinés à un large public en vue de contribuer à une meilleure compréhension, communication et contextualisation de la nouvelle Europe émergente. Elle se concentre principalement sur des histoires, des souvenirs et des témoignages de personnes, d'événements, des institutions et des questions qui ont transformé les mentalités, la conscience européenne et enfin façonné l'avenir de l'Europe. Ces histoires servent de références et d’outils de communication pour des développements futurs de l'Europe dans le monde. Cette collection se veut ouverte et diversifiée, originale et dynamique dans son contenu, méthode et pédagogie fidèle au rôle et référence de l'Europe dans un monde globalisé.
