The series SLOVO. Slavonic Studies provides a forum for current contributions concerning Slavonic languages, literatures and cultures using, among others, a philological approach. The series is intended to focus on established and innovative fields of research and to reflect the links between subjects in an interdisciplinary manner. The aim of this series is to publish monographs and collections of papers in Slavonic and comparative linguistics and literature studies. Die Reihe SLOVO. Slavistische Studien bietet Raum für aktuelle wissenschaftliche Publikationen zu den slawischen Sprachen, Literaturen und Kulturen mit einer in erster Linie philologischen Ausrichtung. Dabei ist sie offen für neuere ebenso wie für traditionelle Forschungsansätze sowie für interdisziplinäre Fragestellungen. Gleichermaßen willkommen sind vergleichend angelegte Monographien und Sammelbände aus Literatur- und Sprachwissenschaft.

Germanica Pacifica

Germanica Pacifica is the academic series of the Research Centre for Germanic Connections with New Zealand and the Pacific of the University of Auckland, New Zealand. The Centre's primary objective is to encourage research on the historical and cultural links between New Zealand and the Pacific region on the one hand and the German-speaking countries on the other. Germanica Pacifica publishes monographs and collections of essays which highlight these cultural links. Prior to publication, the quality of works published in this series is checked by the Series Editors and members of the Editorial Board. Beiträge zur Literatur- und Mediendidaktik

Die 2001 von Bodo Lecke begründete und von Christian Dawidowski und Irene Pieper herausgegebene Buchreihe versammelt aktuelle Beiträge zur Literatur- und Mediendidaktik in Form von Monographien oder Sammelbänden. Schwerpunkte liegen in der didaktischen Theoriebildung, der Vorstellung und Diskussion empirischer Untersuchungen und dem interkulturellen und transkulturellen Literatur- und Medienunterricht. Die Reihe versteht sich auch als Forum für Arbeiten, die der intermedialen Verbindung bzw. Integration von fachunterrichtlich orientierter Literaturdidaktik und fachübergreifender Medienpädagogik und Medienerziehung gelten. Darüber hinaus finden fachgeschichtlich gewachsene Traditionen Berücksichtigung.

Interdisciplinary Studies in Diasporas opens a discursive space in diaspora scholarship in all fields of the humanities and social sciences. The volumes published in this series comprise studies that explore and contribute to an understanding of diasporas from a broad spectrum of cultural, literary, linguistic, anthropological, historical, political, and socioeconomic perspectives, as well as theoretical and methodological approaches. The series welcomes original submissions from individually and collaboratively authored books and monographs as well as edited collections of essays. All proposals and manuscripts are peer reviewed.

Ibero-American Screens / Pantallas Iberoamericanas

This series approaches the Ibero-American audiovisual field—cinema and television—from an interdisciplinary perspective, with special emphasis on studies stemming from Media Studies and Cultural Studies. We are especially interested in those volumes that examine audiovisual production in the Iberian Peninsula and/or Latin America from a comparative perspective. In addition, the collection will include studies on the production, distribution and circulation of audiovisual artifacts in the digital era. Consequently, we include works that explore the relationship between audiovisual media and other fields of popular culture, such as music and sports. We accept both theoretical proposals on audiovisual media and historical approaches that scrutinize a specific period of cinema or television in one or several geopolitical spaces. The series includes volumes on industrials aspects and political economy and reflections on key aspects for the articulation of both national and transnational imaginaries, such as memory and representational templates. The featured volumes can be monographs or collections of essays by different authors, in Spanish or English. Esta colección se acerca al ámbito audiovisual iberoamericano—cine y televisión— desde una perspectiva interdisciplinar, con especial énfasis en estudios provenientes de la Comunicación y los Estudios Culturales. Son de especial interés aquellos volúmenes que examinen la producción audiovisual de la Península Ibérica y/o Latinoamérica desde una perspectiva comparativa. Además, son especialmente relevantes aquellos estudios que aborden las transformaciones en la producción, distribución y circulación de los artefactos audiovisuales en la era digital. Por consiguiente, se incluyen trabajos que exploren la relación del audiovisual con otros campos de la cultura popular, como la música y deportes. Se aceptan propuestas de carácter teórico sobre diversos ámbitos del audiovisual y volúmenes de cariz más histórico que abordan un periodo concreto del cine o televisión de uno o varios espacios geopolíticos. La colección incluye tanto volúmenes que se centren en aspectos industriales o de economía política como reflexiones sobre temas clave en la articulación de imaginarios colectivos nacionales o transnacionales como la memoria y la representación. Los libros pueden ser manuscritos monográficos o colecciones de ensayos de diversos autores, en español o inglés.

Die Reihe Medieval to Early Modern Culture / Kultureller Wandel vom Mittelalter zur Frühen Neuzeit beschäftigt sich mit der weiteren Erforschung der janusköpfigen ‚Sattelzeit‘ des 15. und 16. Jahrhunderts, die aus einer Vielzahl inhaltlicher wie fachlicher Perspektiven und fächerübergreifend in den Blick genommen wird (so z. B. unter den Begriffen Innovation vs. Tradition, Normative Zentrierung, Personen(selbst-)darstellung, moderne Verwaltungskulturen, Entfaltung der Medien der Symbolik, der Bildung und ihrer Institutionen, der Konstruktion der eigenen Vergangenheit wie ihrer Gegenwart und Zukunft). Getragen wird die Reihe von Wissenschaftlern der Universitäten Groningen, Münster und Saarbrücken sowie von Gastwissenschaftlern, die einem breiten Spektrum geisteswissenschaftlicher Fächer angehören.
