Bochumer Schriften zum Steuerrecht

Die Bochumer Schriften zum Steuerrecht werden seit 2004 von Prof. Dr. Roman Seer herausgegeben. Prof. Dr. Seer ist Inhaber des Lehrstuhls für Steuerrecht und Direktor des Forschungsinstituts für Steuerrecht und Steuervollzug an der Ruhr-Universität Bochum. In dem Forschungsinstitut werden Dissertationen, Habilitationen und andere wissenschaftliche Vorhaben persönlich betreut und gebündelt. Die Erkenntnisse der Arbeiten finden überwiegend Eingang diese Schriftenreihe. Neben rechtsvergleichenden Arbeiten im internationalen Kontext steht dabei insbesondere die Wechselbezüglichkeit zwischen dem materiellen Steuerrecht einerseits und dessen Vollzug in der Praxis andererseits im Fokus. America Romana

Im Wintersemester 2009/2010 wurde an der Universität Trier eine neue Forschungseinrichtung mit dem Namen America Romana Centrum (ARC) gegründet, die der auf Amerika zentrierten romanistischen Forschung und Lehre einen institutionellen Rahmen gibt. Ziel des ARC ist es, die Tradition der sprachenübergreifenden Romanistik, die für Europa so beeindruckende Resultate geliefert hat, auf Amerika anzuwenden: Das Französische in Kanada, der Karibik und in Südamerika (Guyana), das Spanische als Staatssprache von 19 Ländern zwischen dem Rio Grande und Feuerland sowie das Portugiesische in Brasilien sollen ebenso wie franko- und ibero-kreolische Varianten bzw. die nach Amerika verpflanzten Ausprägungen des Italienischen (und neuerdings des Rumänischen) im Zentrum der Aufmerksamkeit stehen. Die interdisziplinären Auseinandersetzungen mit dem Raum America Romana fokussieren gegenseitige Beeinflussungen, aber auch Abgrenzungen sowie Berührungen mit anderen Sprachen, Literaturen und Kulturen.

Die Reihe „Studien zur Medien- und Kulturlinguistik“ widmet sich dem Sprachgebrauch in Medien, der Konstituierung und Verknüpfung von Online- und Offline-Diskursen sowie den multimodalen Textsorten und kommunikativen Praktiken. Wichtige Forschungsaspekte sind dabei die Intermedialität, die Wissensetablierung und -vermittlung sowie Funktionalität und Einflüsse von Text- und Diskurshandlungen auf die Öffentlichkeit. Darüber hinaus werden in die Reihe auch kulturlinguistische Arbeiten aufgenommen, die aus intra- und interkultureller Sicht ein bestimmtes Spektrum von Sprachhandlungen innerhalb von Kulturgemeinschaft(en) thematisieren.

Intradisziplinäre Forschung zur Compliance

Gegenstand dieser Schriftenreihe sind wirtschaftsrechtliche Forschungsarbeiten, die in wissenschaftlicher Hinsicht intradisziplinär angelegt und auf praxisrelevante Fragestellungen der „Compliance“ ausgerichtet sind. Es werden Problemkomplexe aus dem Blickwinkel verschiedener juristischer Teildisziplinen miteinander abgeglichen, um intradisziplinäre Wertungsunterschiede aufzudecken und diese – soweit möglich – aufzulösen. Diese Erkenntnisinteresse trägt die Einbindung der Rechtspraxis in den Entstehungsprozess der Arbeiten in besonderer Weise Rechnung. Der regelmäßige Austausch mit Rechtspraktikern soll gewährleisten, dass vor allem praktisch relevante Frage aufgegriffen werden, die noch keine Klärung durch Rechtsprechung und Wissenschaft erfahren haben.

Die Reihe Berliner Beiträge zur Literatur- und Kulturgeschichte bietet die Möglichkeit zur Veröffentlichung von Monographien, Aufsatzbänden oder Einzeluntersuchungen aus dem Gesamtgebiet der deutschsprachigen Literatur- und Kulturgeschichte und versteht sich als Forum unterschiedlicher methodischer und theoretischer Zugänge. Überdurchschnittliche Arbeiten zu einzelnen Autoren/Autorinnen, zu Gattungen und Sujets und zu übergreifenden thematischen Bereichen sind gleichermassen willkommen. Trotz des Reihentitels ist ein thematischer Bezug der Arbeiten auf Berlin keineswegs zwingend.

Le LASLAR rassemble des francisants, des italianistes, des hispanistes dont les champs dintérêt et de recherche traversent de nombreuses disciplines et portent sur différentes époques de notre culture, du Moyen Age au XXIe siècle. Cette collection prend, sans solution de continuité, la suite de « Liminaires-Passages interculturels italo-ibériques » et présente des travaux conduits dans ce nouveau cadre institutionnel où les chercheurs romanistes du LEIA construisent leurs recherches de façon féconde avec des chercheurs en littérature française et arts du spectacle (théâtre et cinéma). Die Buchreihe "Studien zur neueren Literatur" veröffentlicht Forschungsergebnisse aus dem Bereich der Germanistik und Vergleichenden Literaturwissenschaft, die sie in zwei Teilfolgen zur Diskussion stellt. Ein Teil ist Monographien vorbehalten, die ein breiteres Spektrum von literaturwissenschaftlichen Themen behandeln (Das literarische Nachtstück - Der Salon, ein kurhessisches Literaturblatt - Die chinesischen Gesandtschaftsberichte über Europa 1866 bis 1906 u.a.m.), ein anderer bietet in Sammelbänden Einzelstudien und Tagungsbeiträge (Literatur und Regionalität - Theater und Publikum im europäischen Barock - Europäische Aspekte der Aufklärung - Europäische Romane der Postmoderne u.a.m.). Die thematischen Schwerpunkte liegen in den Bereichen Neuere Deutsche Literatur und Europäische Literaturbeziehungen. Littératures de langue française

« Littératures de langue française » se propose de promouvoir les recherches sur les auteurs, courants et grandes aventures littéraires qui ont marqué la France et le monde francophone du XIXe siècle jusqu’à nos jours. S’intéressant de manière privilégiée au renouvellement des formes d’écriture et des genres littéraires qui caractérise cette période, elle accueille des études qui abordent auteurs et textes de manière scientifique et originale, selon des méthodes critiques qui recourent à ou concilient herméneutique, approche génétique et archivistique, approche poéticienne. Le roman, le théâtre et la poésie jusqu’à l’extrême-contemporain, mais aussi l’essai ou l’exégèse intéressent cette collection de même que des problématiques et thématiques transversales, abordées éventuellement de manière pluridisciplinaire, qui envisagent l’évolution et la transformation des formes littéraires. La collection accorde une place particulière à la littérature francophone, provenant d’aires traditionnellement francophones ou d’auteurs ayant adopté la langue française pour langue de création. Monographies, actes de colloques ou journées d’études, thèses de doctorat, publication d’inédits et éditions critiques trouvent leur place dans cette collection et manifestent le caractère innovant de la recherche littéraire dans le domaine contemporain.

Early Christianity in the Context of Antiquity

The series ECCA (Early Christianity in the Context of Antiquity) seeks to publish monographs and edited volumes that take as their theme early Christianity and its connections with the religion(s) and culture(s) of antiquity and late antiquity. Special attention is given to the interactions between religion and culture, as well as to the influences that diverse religions and cults had on one another. Works published in ECCA extend chronologically from the second century B.C.E. to the fifth century C.E. and geographically across the expanse of the Roman empire and its immediate neighbors. Prior to publication, the quality of the work published in this series is reviewed by the editors of the series and by members of the academic advisory board. Proposals are welcome for mongraphs or edited volumes. Die Reihe Sprache – Gesellschaft – Geschichte bietet den Rahmen für Monographien, Sammelbände und Tagungsakten, in denen Sprache theoretisch und/oder in ihrem gesellschaftlichen und historischen Kontext beschrieben wird. Dabei liegt das Augenmerk auf den romanischen Sprachen, insbesondere dem Französischen, Spanischen, Italienischen und Portugiesischen. Publikationssprache kann Deutsch oder eine der genannten romanischen Sprachen sowie Englisch sein. The series Sprache – Gesellschaft – Geschichte provides a suitable framework for monographs, text anthologies and conference proceedings in which language is described theoretically and/or in its social and historical context. The focus is on Romance languages, especially French, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese. The language of publication may be German or one of the Romance languages mentioned as well as English. La collection Sprache – Gesellschaft – Geschichte est destinée à la publication de monographies, anthologies textuelles et actes de conférence dans lesquels la langue est décrite de manière théorique et/ou dans son contexte social et historique. Ecuador - Studien und Editionen

Ecuador ist im Bewusstsein der deutschsprachigen Öffentlichkeit kaum präsent. Das Land wird bis heute fast ausschließlich im Rahmen allgemeiner Problemstellungen südamerikanischer Ökonomie, Politik und Gesellschaft wahrgenommen. Die große Vielfalt Ecuadors ist hierzulande seit Alexander von Humboldts Reiseberichten aus dem beginnenden 18. Jahrhundert zwar bekannt, jedoch einzig auf den Gebieten der Geologie, der Tier- und Pflanzenkunde. Der kulturelle und insbesondere literarische und künstlerische Reichtum des Andenstaates ist selbst Spezialisten lateinamerikanischer Kultur weitgehend unvertraut, mit Ausnahme des Malers Guayasamin und weniger Romane des sozialen Realismus. Vor diesem Hintergrund ist es das Ziel der Buchreihe Ecuador – Studien und Editionen, einen wichtigen Beitrag zur kulturwissenschaftlichen Präsentation Ecuadors in Deutschland zu leisten. Insbesondere soll das Land als Nation einer großen kulturellen Vielfalt gewürdigt und so den Fachkollegen, aber zum Teil auch einem größeren Lesepublikum vorgestellt und als bedeutsames lateinamerikanisches Land ins Bewusstsein gerückt werden. Von hier aus sind eine deutliche Verbesserung der Landeskenntnis in Deutschland, weitere, vernetzte Studien und Editionen im Bereich der Lateinamerikanistik sowie nicht zuletzt auch ein wachsendes öffentliches wie touristisches Interesse denkbar. Die einzelnen Bände der Reihe verschreiben sich dabei zum einen dem Anliegen einer (inter)disziplinär wie methodisch breiten und offenen Darstellung und Vertiefung wichtiger Landesthemen sowie der Präsentation und Erforschung wichtiger Kulturträger/innen. Dazu sollen zum anderen kritische, teilweise zweisprachige Ausgaben und Texteditionen bedeutender ecuadorianischer Autor/inn/en und Künstler/innen erstmals einen besseren Zugang zu den nicht immer leicht zugänglichen Primärwerken ermöglichen.

The series Language and Text Studies publishes works of a broad range of research on aspects of language and text, including English, French, German, Slavonic and Baltic studies. Although its central perspective is linguistic in nature, publications also encompass literary and cultural studies. The series comprises monographs as well as anthologies. The editors Alexander Brock and Katrin Schlund are linguists at the English and Slavonic Departments of Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg. La collection Recherches linguistiques et textuelles publie des travaux relevant de la philologie des langues modernes (anglais, langues romanes, allemand, langues slaves et baltes) dans une optique linguistique. Elle s'adresse également aux travaux de recherches littéraires et interdisciplinaires portant sur l'analyse textuelle. Elle publie des monographies, mémoires de recherche, recueils thématiques et actes de colloques. Marguerite Duras

The work of Marguerite Duras has become one of the most popular subjects of academic research, achieving enormous global reach. Her work crosses many genres (novels, theatre, films, journalism, interviews, short texts), and she attracted the interest of important contemporary thinkers such as Lacan, Foucault and Blanchot. As well as having a unique style and the power to fascinate, Duras was politically active and became an important witness of her time. These are the reasons why she is considered to be one of the most significant writers of the 20th century. This series aims to give academics and the large number of Duras fans the chance to explore a wide range of high-quality research generated by her work. This is made possible with the publication of monographs, collections of essays, conference notes and texts from doctoral research. The series encourages cross-disciplinary views and aims to be a major platform for dialogue on the different approaches to research on Marguerite Duras. Nobody disputes the modern relevance of Marguerite Yourcenar’s work. Back in 1981, when she was the first woman to be elected to the Académie Française, her work was received enthusiastically, rather deferentially even; there was something of an aura surrounding it with the media attention her election attracted. But this time is now past and more recent research activity has taken a new turn, with critical attention focusing on Yourcenar’s roots in her own century. The study of traditional major themes – death, the sacred, nature, history etc. – has given way to the study of more comparative, theoretical issues such as the relationship between text and images, and more incisive issues such as ecology, gender, political activism etc. And her work seems to expand accordingly, offering up a seemingly inexhaustible supply of subject matter, not only through her novels but also through her novellas, her many essays, plays, letters and so on. The primary objective of the «Yourcenar» series is to publish monographs, collected volumes, conference proceedings and volumes resulting from doctoral research which will give our intended public of academics and Yourcenar devotees a regularly updated idea of the state of the art in the field. Cross-disciplinary approaches are encouraged. The intention is to publish two volumes per year, in either English or French. The collection is directed by Francesca Counihan (Maynooth University) and Bérengère Deprez (Université catholique de Louvain). L’actualité de l’œuvre de Marguerite Yourcenar ne fait aucun doute. Passé un moment de réception enthousiaste et plutôt déférente de ses écrits, auréolés et très médiatisés par son admission comme première femme à l’Académie française en 1981, il semble que la recherche ait pris un virage vers la critique attentive de l’enracinement de l’écrivaine dans son siècle. À l’examen des grands thèmes comme la mort, le sacré, la nature, l’histoire, etc., ont succédé des questions plus comparatistes, plus théoriques telles le rapport texte/image ou plus incisives telles l’écologie, la dimension de genre, l’engagement politique, etc. Et l’œuvre répond présente : la matière semble inépuisable, non seulement les romans mais les nouvelles, les nombreux essais, le théâtre, la correspondance, etc. La collection « Yourcenar » a pour ambition de présenter à un public universitaire académique ou non, ainsi qu’aux nombreux passionnés de l’œuvre de Marguerite Yourcenar, un état des lieux régulier de la recherche, par la publication de monographies, de volumes collectifs, d’actes de colloques et d’essais issus de thèses de doctorat. Elle encourage les points de vue transdisciplinaires. L’objectif de publication est de deux volumes par an, en français ou en anglais. Back in 1981, when she was the first woman to be elected to the Académie Française, her work was received enthusiastically, rather deferentially even; there was something of an aura surrounding it with the media attention her election attracted. But this time is now past and more recent research activity has taken a new turn, with critical attention focusing on Yourcenar’s roots in her own century. La colección "Artes visuales y sociedades hispánicas" está dedicada a trabajos monográficos o colectivos en español sobre representaciones artísticas de las culturas de los países hispánicos, tanto en España y América como en algunos territorios o comunidades de otros continentes. El concepto de ʻartes visualesʼ incluye aquí toda forma de representación relacionada con la imagen, ya se refiera a artes académicas como la fotografía, la pintura, el teatro y el cine, o a estilos más recientes, populares y/o heterogéneos como la historieta, la novela gráfica, la televisión, los videojuegos, el street art, las instalaciones y otras modalidades de arte libre o efímero, ligados o no a las nuevas tecnologías. Esta colección pretende asociar a una serie de autores de horizontes diversos interesados por la función social del arte actual o tradicional, por la manera en que las representaciones visuales pretenden transmitir puntos de vista críticos, pragmáticos, comprometidos y/o políticos sobre los conflictos a través de los cuales evolucionaron en el pasado o se transforman actualmente las sociedades hispánicas. The concept of ʻvisual artsʼ includes all forms of representation related to the image, whether they refer to academic arts such as photography, painting, theatre and film, or to more recent, popular and/or heterogeneous styles such as graphic novels, television, video games, street art, installations, interventions and other forms of free or ephemeral art, whether or not linked to new technologies. This collection aims to bring together authors writing from different perspectives who are interested in the social function of current or traditional art, in the way in which visual representations seek to convey critical, pragmatic, committed and/or political points of view on the conflicts through which Hispanic societies evolved in the past or are currently being transformed.
