Interdisziplinäre Studien zur Musik – Interdisciplinary Studies of Music is a publication series that emphasizes the transdisciplinary and international nature of musicological research. The series editors, Tomi Mäkelä (Professor of Musicology at Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg) and Tobias Robert Klein (Privatdozent at Humboldt Universität zu Berlin) are equally interested in manuscripts with a historical, systematic or transcultural orientation. Hitherto published volumes (both monographs and edited collections) cover a wide range of topics from musical multilingualism to current debates in performance theory.
