About the Contributors


Andrei Andryieuski (PhD) received his Master’s Degree in Physics in 2008 from Belarusian State University, Belarus, and his PhD degree in 2011 from the Technical University of Denmark, Denmark. His PhD project was focused on optical metamaterials and plasmonics. In 2011–2015, he worked as a post-doctoral researcher at the Technical University of Denmark implementing his personal project on graphene photonics. Since 2015, he has lived in Minsk, Belarus, and works as the R&D head at LasersCom LLC. Andrei can be contacted at

Judy Bruce (PhD) is a Research Associate at the College of Education, Health and Human Development, University of Canterbury in Christchurch, New Zealand. Judy currently works as Head of Learning and Development at Freeset in Kolkata, India. Prior to this appointment, Judy worked as Senior Lecturer, primarily at the intersections of teacher education and sociology of education at the University of Canterbury. Her research crosses a range of justice contexts drawing on postcolonial and post-structural theoretical frameworks.

Christine Cox Eriksson (PhD) completed a doctorate in Special Education at Stockholm University where she examined the vocabulary development of very young Swedish children. She has taught children and adults in the USA, Germany and Sweden, and is currently an Assistant Professor of English at Dalarna University in Falun, Sweden.
