Professional Development and the Digital Turn
Edited By Michele Knobel and Judy Kalman
Carly Biddolph recently completed a Bachelor of Education (Honours) and a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Sydney, Australia. During her five years of study, her professors and peers inspired her teaching of secondary English and history, as well as her interest in educational research. As part of a class about youth and digital culture, Carly was encouraged to use Twitter to share her thoughts with a public audience. This was a highlight of her professional learning, and it has significantly influenced her passion for using social media to teach and learn.
