Jacob Assa (New School for Social Research) Jacob is currently a PhD candidate in economics at the New School for Social Research in New York, specializing in labor economics and economic methodology. He holds an M.Phil. in economics from the New School for Social Research, and is currently completing his doctoral dissertation on the political economy of national accounting. Jacob’s most recent publications include “Financialization and Its Consequences: The OECD Experience” (Finance Research, Vol. 1, No. 1, January 2012) and “Inequality and Growth Re-examined” (Technology and Investment, Vol. 3, No. 1, February 2012).
