Your Action Research Paper
Now that you know what it means to mindfully conduct action research for educational improvement, the next step is to consider how you could capture what you learned in the form of an action research paper. Writing up your action research paper allows you to not only share what you learned during your action research with others but also serves as an opportunity for you to reflect on various aspects of your action research.
Up to this point, you might have informally shared your action research with your close colleagues and mentors, but writing your paper can lead you to a whole new level. By writing your paper, you can engage in new types of dialogues with others beyond your proximity and engage in deeper reflections on your action research journey. In that sense, writing up your action research paper and presenting it to a wider audience can be seen as an important part of your action research journey.
However, writing an action research paper is not an easy process due to the organic nature of action research. In the following section, I provide a possible format of your action research paper that reflects our discussions up to this point. Please note that these are just guidelines, and you can modify them in a way that works best for you in the writing process.
