Der Band dokumentiert eine Reihe von Beiträgen der XX. Internationalen wissenschaftlichen Konferenz Bildungsreform und Lehrerausbildung, die vom Ministerium für Bildung und Wissenschaft der Republik Litauen, der Litauischen Universität für Bildungswissenschaften in Vilnius (LEU) und der Pädagogischen Hochschule Heidelberg – University of Education gemeinsam veranstaltet wurde. Das Hauptthema der Konferenz waren Bildungs- und Qualitätsstandards der Hochschul- und Schulbildung. Dieses Qualitätsmanagement setzt den Erwerb interaktiver Kompetenzen im Bildungs-, Erziehungs- und Sozialisationsbereich voraus, gewissermaßen als innere Kräfte für Basiskompetenzen, die die Befähigung zu Identität ermöglichen im Hinblick auf die Herausforderungen der Gesellschaft des kommenden Jahrzehnts.

Possibilities of Popular Music Application Enhancing Music Education in the Context of School Learners’ Socialisation



The article discusses possibilities of improving music education through application of popular music and use of innovative methods of personal meaning and emotional imitation. The relevance of the aforesaid methods is substantiated developing value-based attitudes of junior school learners in the context of the system of contemporary music education and theories of pedagogical thought development. On the basis of the research results, the educational practice is reflected discussing links of music activities and formation of value-based attitudes, improvement of music education presenting possibilities of teacher’s educational activities in the social context.

Dreaming of future and completeness of own life, each individual chooses a field of training and studies or a certain speciality and, while preparing for it, s/he adopts and perceives general and specific scientific conceptions, theories and models, which are creatively modelled during studies and independent activities, as well as learns to implement them in practical activities. According to V. Lukošiūnienė, M. Barkauskaitė (2013), education is a necessary prerequisite for the individual’s success in life, whereas learning is acknowledged as a key factor in the individual’s improvement. On the other hand, according to G. Kvieskienė (2003), globalisation trends, uniting Europe, tendencies of social integration and harmonisation create new possibilities for social development of an individual and a child. The person’s self-dependence, his/her moral maturity and multifaceted contemporary competence as positive socialisation occupy a specific place in this context....
