En considérant la « crise » comme une notion discursive, ce volume se propose de reconstruire sa conceptualisation du point de vue de sa mise en langage. Les auteurs explorent les différentes façons de raconter la crise économique avec son lexique (européismes, néologismes, phraséologismes), les métaphores, les topoï discursifs et les stratégies d’euphémisation et d’interdiction linguistique, tout en mettant en relation la construction linguistique de la crise avec les contextes extralinguistiques propres aux pays concernés.

Partendo dalla considerazione della crisi come nozione discorsiva, questo volume si propone di ricostruirne la concettualizzazione in ambito romanzo dal punto di vista della sua costruzione linguistica. Gli autori esplorano i vari modi di raccontare la crisi economica con il suo lessico (europeismi, neologismi, fraseologismi), le metafore, i topoi discorsivi e le strategie eufemistiche e di interdizione linguistica, mettendo in relazione la costruzione linguistica della crisi con i rispettivi contesti extralinguistici.

Teniendo en cuenta la "crisis" como un concepto discursivo, este volumen se propone reconstruir su conceptualización desde la perspectiva de su lenguaje. Los autores exploran el fenómeno mediante el léxico (europeísmos, neologismos), las metáforas, los topoi discursivos y varias estrategias eufemísticas. Así se pone en relación la construcción lingüística de la crisis económica con los contextos extralingüísticos específicos de cada país analizado.

L’usage métaphorique et métonymique du terme crise économique dans les magazines d’actualité économique français

Abstract: The causes of the recent economic situation in France, which is often referred to as economic crisis, are multiple and complex. Neither political leaders nor economists seem to be able to interpret and deal with this situation appropriately. Most experts consider it to be a profound systemic crisis of capitalism. The existing socio-economic problems and a perceived political lack of power threaten and affect people’s way of life.

Due to its social dimension the crisis has had extensive media coverage for the last several years. Hence, journalistic texts about the crisis represent an interesting field to investigate how media try to explain the complex socio-economic developments. One characteristic of these texts is that they often contain a considerable number of metaphors.
