The protection of cultural heritage in the northern Adriatic. Italian and Croatian legal order
Abstract. The comparative study of the organization of Italian and Croatian cultural heritage is a useful tool to identify opportunities for collaboration between Italy and Croatia and between their regions bordering the Adriatic Sea. The elements of differentiation express the originality of the Croatian legal system in which intangible goods of language, dialects and toponomastic are valued’ and in the conception of cultural heritage as a resource for the tax system.
