The Moderator Role of Negative Environment Perceptions in the Effect of Achievement Motivation on Work Values in Entrepreneurship
Hazan and Shaver (1990), who conducted the pioneering study of the attachment theory in the field of organization, discussed the attachment system that functions in the organizational environment in terms of individual differences. With this pioneering study, a basis emerged for discussing the relationships between various dimensions of workplace performance and styles of attachment. Later, authors reached the idea that the type of emotional attachment between the leader and their followers and in group dynamics and relationships could be similar to those in their childhood, adolescence or adulthood period towards their parents, friends and romantic partners (Mikulincer and Shaver, 2016: 473). It may be argued that, for individuals who act with a motivation to succeed in entrepreneurship, the ways of perceiving the environment or workplace (setting) they are in will be reflected in their values. Nevertheless, the relationship among the adult attachment styles, work values and achievement motivations of university students receiving education on entrepreneurship was investigated, and important findings were reached. In this context, it is believed that the findings related to the relationships in question will make significant contributions to the literature on management, organization and business/business management.
