The human factor is made up of entities or groups of people who complete organizational structures and that fulfill the jobs and tasks resulting from the roles they play within the organization, as well as their own, private goals and objectives. Typically, terms are used that emphasize the significance of people for the realization of the organizational goals and the appreciation that they constitute the fundamental element of the economic value of organizations. One such term is “human resources.” Human resources are the social reserve of organizations, the supply of human energy, knowledge, skills and habits that can be utilized for the realization of the mission and goals of organizations, but that can also intrinsically influence the organization and its environment in various, often uncontrolled, ways.
