The Impact of Task, Technology and Individual Characteristics
Developing and writing this dissertation was a challenging, but especially enrich ing endeavor. I met many people I would like to thank for their great support and their respective contributions to this work. I want to express my deepest gratitude to my supervisor and mentor Professor Dr. Armin Heinzl, who gave me the opportunity to do both research and teaching in Information Systems at the University of Mannheim. Professor Heinzl did not only highly inspire me, but he also guided my research trajectory and gave me a substantial degree of freedom to develop initial ideas and do my research. Finally, he encouraged me to utilize every chance to present my concepts to an international audience both during conferences and in my role as a guest researcher.
