1.  How did you learn to know Friedrich Wallner and the Constructive Realism?

In the early 2000’s I was looking for a relevant theory for advancement of my research about East Asian Confucianism. Since 1999, I had been developing a theoretical method for re-interpretation of Confucian philosophy and especially the Confucian understanding of mind. There have still been two main streams of the studies of Confucianism in Korea. One of them is a kind of philological approach and the other one is a kind of philosophical analysis. What I called into my criticism is the latter one, although philology is needed as a basic method to Confucian philosophy or understanding of the mind. Of course, only in the case that the philological studies were coupled with a philosophical framework, they were admitted.
