Textlinguistische Konzepte in der Entwicklung und Bewertung schriftsprachlicher Kompetenzen im DaF-Studium
This article presents the application of some textlinguistic principles and methods to the teaching of German as a foreign language in university curricula in non-German speaking countries. More specifically, the paper focuses on teaching methods for a) text analysis, b) text production of summaries and comments and c) evaluation of relevant written texts. The production of these text types is useful to students of German as a foreign language, not only because it represents the developmental stages of academic writing, but also for their future tasks as teachers, writers and reviewers.
