The Relationship between the Corporate Social Responsibility Perception of Employees and Organisational Commitment: A Research Study in the Banking Industry



Today, businesses are no longer qualified, not only as economic and technical units, but also as social structures with aims and a social being. As a social being, while continuing their activities, businesses are under the influence of social groups and dynamics that they associate with. While businesses are maintaining their presence in that complex environment, they bear responsibilities to all sections of society whose sources they use. Businesses have the ability to affect the environment thanks to the economic and social power that they have. At the same time, while they are continuing their activities, they should protect the interests of all stakeholders that they have relations with. With this point of view, corporate social responsibility referes to businesses behaving responsibly to all of their internal and external stakeholders and providing improvements for all sections of society where the business functions.
