Although at no time Luxembourg appeared as a colonial power, a globally oriented society such as Luxembourg’s, which is also much characterized by mobility and migration, experiences conflicts which, in the research context of interculturality, allow for or even require a post-colonial point of view. Apart from the dubiousness of a colonial history of Luxembourg, it is about finding out, by way of positioning still recent post-colonial studies within German studies, what may be the achievement of a post-colonial point of view within the horizon of interculturality research.
