Interculturally Embedded Project Teams and Project Manager’s Competence

This article is concerned with the specific challenges project managers (PM) face while leading a multicultural team. Starting with theoretical background on the notions of competence, communicative and intercultural competence, the author will focus on the analysis of multidimensional competence of project managers and on the implications arising from the cultural diversity of project teams.
