Code- und Script-Switching in Postings von chinesischen Germanistikstudierenden

Code-switching is characterized in different countries and cultures through different characteristics. In this paper code and script-switching of Chinese students who study German in the PR China is investigated, as they use at least two languages and writing systems. The data of this particular group of users come from the social network Renren2, which is very popular among the students. Forms and functions of switching between Chinese, English and German, as well as between different writing systems are presented and illustrated in selected examples.
Einleitung
Während Code-Switching als „weit verbreitetes Phänomen in mehrsprachigen Gesellschaften und Gruppen“ (Riehl 2004, 20) Gegenstand zahlreicher Untersuchungen (vgl. u.a. Androutsopoulos 2013, Androutsopoulos/Ziegler 2003, Androutsopoulos/Hinnenkamp 2001, Auer 1998; 1995; 1988/2000, Li 1994, Gumperz 1982, Blom/Gumperz 1972) ist, wurde Script-Switching bisher kaum empirisch untersucht.3 Analog ist die Situation bei Untersuchungen zu Jugendsprachen. Zum schriftsprachlichen Code-Switching und dessen Bezug zur Jugendsprache liegen nur wenige Untersuchungen vor.4
