How and to which degree are actors willing to adopt applications of precaution and sustainability in order to take action under uncertain conditions? Strict legislation vs. negotiation and contractual agreements? Dutch and Swiss story lines and programmes of sustainable strategies in clean air, climate, transportation, and energy policy.
