An International Bibliography of Computer-Assisted Language Learning with Annotations in German

Udo O.H. Jung

This international bibliography of computer-assisted language learning contains more than a thousand entries, most of them dating from 1980-1987. In a very few instances pre-1980 papers on CALL are included. The compiler does not claim that his reference work replaces its predecessors, its merit being that it is international in scope. It covers books and articles in journals from mainly American, English, French, and German sources. Some 400 of the entries have been annotated in German. A subject index provides easy thematical access to the data.
Contents: Computer-assisted language learning - Interactive Video - Programmed Instruction - Computer-aided Translation - Software Evaluation - Computers in Applied Linguistics - Computers and Reading - Computer-Guided Composition - Computers in Remedial Training.
