Formal Slavic Linguistics investigates all linguistic levels and their interfaces. The contributions of the FDSL VI Conference in Potsdam 2005 are concerned with the explicit description and explanation of prosody, information structure, phonology, morphology, syntax and semantics, applying recent developments of the Principles and Parameters Framework, OT, HPSG and formal Semantics. The Editors: Peter Kosta is Professor of Slavic Linguistics and Chair at the Slavic Department at Potsdam University. His focus of research is syntax theory, semantics and discourse analysis. Lilia Schürcks, Ph.D., is Assistant of Slavic Linguistics in Potsdam. Her major areas of research are syntax theory, morphology and information structure.
