The Authors: Alicia de Alba is National Researcher in Education at the Center for Studies of the University (Centro de Estudios sobre la Universidad) at the National Autonomous University of Mexico. Edgar Gonzalez-Gaudiano is Director General of the Education and Training Center for Sustainable Development of the Ministry Environment, Natural Resources and Fisheries of the Mexican Government. Colin Lankshear, formerly Professor of Education at Queensland University of Technology, is a freelance writer and researcher living in Mexico. Michael Peters is Associate Professor of Education at the University of Auckland.
