Summary

This book shows how corpus linguistics and discourse analysis can benefit from the cooperation with a variety of other language-related disciplines, such as cognitive linguistics, appraisal theory, corpus stylistics and cultural studies. José Luis Oncins Martínez is a senior lecturer in English language and literature at the University of Extremadura, Spain. His research interests include topics such as English literature, corpus linguistics, translation, stylistics and pragmatics. He has authored and co-edited several volumes on these topics.
