The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Adobe InDesign and typesetting, particularly within academic publishing. This role will focus on typesetting and layout books, journals, and supplementary materials, ensuring consistency, clarity, and high production standards. You will work closely with colleagues in various departments, and should have a proactive, critical-thinking approach to managing your work.

This key position is essential in overseeing the early production preparation and pre-production process and assuring, through strong coordination, a smooth integration of our publishing projects into production. You will work closely with colleagues in various departments, and should have a proactive, critical-thinking approach to managing your work and your team. Training and support will be given, but a strong experience in a similar role is a prerequisite.

This role will focus on ensuring that all publications meet company and industry standards for accuracy, consistency, design, and academic integrity. The ideal candidate will work closely with the editorial and production teams to implement quality control processes and maintain high standards across all stages of production. You will work closely with colleagues in various departments, and should have a proactive, critical-thinking approach to managing your work. Training and support will be given, but solid experience in academic publishing is expected

Training and support will be given, but a solid book production knowledge and experience, and project management skills are required.
