Transfer und Transformation von Wissen

Series:

Edited By Matthias Ballod

Wissensintegration in interdisziplinären Lehr-Lernsettings

Abstract This paper takes as its starting point the transformation of traditional labour practices resulting both from social challenges such as digitization, globalisation or climate change, and from the increasing relevance of project-centred design, complexity, and collaboration on both an inter- and a transdisciplinary basis. This leads to a consideration of the central question of how the framework of university teaching can be used to prepare students for these requirements. Proceeding from a documentation of autoethnographic teaching-learning research at the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam the concrete didactic challenges encountered in practice and research-related project work are described, and experience-based hypotheses for the didactic design of these kinds of teaching and learning settings are developed. It is suggested that a meta-reflection of project work within the didactic concept be created by adapting knowledge integration research to learning-centred, interdisciplinary project settings. Three elements of this meta-knowledge are highlighted as being particularly relevant: firstly, reflection on the shared and non-shared knowledge of project participants, secondly, their shared and non-shared individual and knowledge-related cultural perspectives, and finally, knowledge of work procedures related to the principles of learning-based group work processes.
