Ein Konzept zur strategischen Erneuerung
Today, companies are confronted with a „new normality“. Among other things, this is a result of an intensively interconnected world economy, converging as well as diverging markets and an observable acceleration of technology diffusion. Based on the resulting interdependencies, turbulences and volatility are generated and lead to a certain unpredictability in which new challenges for businesses constantly arise. Established and successful technology companies confront this by attempting to „ride out“ the situation relying on proven structures and core competencies.
Young and ambitious start-ups on the other hand, often reach their limits if they are not able to embed their rapid growth in an adequate resource and capability structures. More than ever, dynamic capabilities and competencies are required which have to be combined with adaptive strategies to create or maintain competitive advantages again and again.
An increasing number of companies are facing a situation where fundamental decisions are required to ensure their simple economic survival and existence. A fundamental strategic renewal is required, if existing competitive advantages threaten to erode substantially because of insufficient and limited resources and competencies. Intelligent and courageous instruments are necessary and in this light, the question arises of whether Transformational Outsourcing can be a theoretically well-founded concept.
