Der Band dokumentiert eine Reihe von Beiträgen der XX. Internationalen wissenschaftlichen Konferenz Bildungsreform und Lehrerausbildung, die vom Ministerium für Bildung und Wissenschaft der Republik Litauen, der Litauischen Universität für Bildungswissenschaften in Vilnius (LEU) und der Pädagogischen Hochschule Heidelberg – University of Education gemeinsam veranstaltet wurde. Das Hauptthema der Konferenz waren Bildungs- und Qualitätsstandards der Hochschul- und Schulbildung. Dieses Qualitätsmanagement setzt den Erwerb interaktiver Kompetenzen im Bildungs-, Erziehungs- und Sozialisationsbereich voraus, gewissermaßen als innere Kräfte für Basiskompetenzen, die die Befähigung zu Identität ermöglichen im Hinblick auf die Herausforderungen der Gesellschaft des kommenden Jahrzehnts.

Schoolchildren’s Destructive Behaviour at School: Causes and Possibilities to Change It



The article deals with schoolchildren’s destructive behaviour at school that does not accept and thus violates and destructs (lot. destructio) the established moral norms of behaviour and manifests itself in harassment, violence, bullying one’s peers. This article analyses the causes of such destructive behaviour as well as schoolchildren’s, teachers’ and first-year students’ approach to destructive behaviour. The research findings that are presented here suggest that purposeful high-quality content of (self-)education, i.e., finding the value-based meaning of knowledge and the processes of acquiring it, makes a positive change in schoolchildren’s behaviour.

All the periods of time respond to their political, socio-cultural, economic, moral and social context and, when planning high-quality change in the society, the goals are set to ensure every person a safe and dignified life. It is unquestionably proved that the key factor in a positive and high-quality change of the society is education that can control possibilities opened up by globalization and sophisticated information to hungrily accept all positive and negative “news” without selection, to imitate and follow it, thus forgetting one’s own national values and traditions.
