This volume presents a series of contributions from the XXIst International Scientific Conference on «The Reform of Education and Teacher’s Training» on the topic «Cultures of Thinking and Learning in the Scientific Dialogue». The articles consider new educational standards of Higher and Secondary Education. The acquisition of interactive competence in scientific research and the educational sector is a prerequisite for achieving an identity in order to meet the challenges of our society in the coming decade.

Evaluation of Significance of Teaching – Learning Methods Applied in the Process of Education
Abstract: Having systemised and generalised theoretical research works and other sources, the article discusses the teaching and learning methods applied in the process of entrepreneurship education. The results of direct and indirect evaluation based on the results of questionnaire survey of 17 teachers from Lithuanian gymnasiums, who prepared school learners for the 22nd Economics and Business Olympiad of Lithuanian School Learners are presented. The obtained evaluation results substantiate the significance and efficiency of the teaching –learning methods applied in the process of entrepreneurship education.

The teaching and learning methods applied in entrepreneurship education have been discussed in a large number of scholarly works. A natural question arises which of them are the most significant in the process of entrepreneurship education. The majority of scholars consider the methods that are learner-centred and focus on his/her needs and interests, i.e., innovative (active teaching-learning methods) ones, to be the most efficient. The application of teaching-learning methods depends on the pedagogical attitude and the context, where teaching and learning occurs.
