Résumé

Intermediate French for Diplomats aims at reinforcing communicative and linguistic competence while at the same time giving the learners an opportunity to learn French for immediate use in their diplomatic profession. The approach used is a communicative one. Each lesson is based on texts, excerpts and articles related to international affairs and diplomacy that will stimulate learners’ participation and free reactions. Learners are indeed expected to give their own opinion using acquired grammatical structures, vocabulary and savoir-faire.

Kitenge-Ngoy (Auteur)

The Author: T. Kitenge-Ngoy is a holder of an M.A. in Modern Literature, an Agrégation in the Teaching of French as a Second Language and a Ph.D. in Caribbean, North African and African Literature. He lectured French for many years in the French Department and the Department of Diplomacy Training Programme of the University of Nairobi. He is presently Senior Lecturer and Head of the French Department at the University of Botswana.
