The main objective of this book is to highlight the most effective use of storytelling in several areas related to communication and the media. Thus, gender studies, political communication, digital media, advertising, crisis communication and PR activities as well as corporate social responsibility have been surveyed with regard to storytelling. Seda Mengü completed her undergraduate studies in the Department of Public Relations and Publicity, Faculty of Communication, Istanbul University in 1996. She received her master’s degree in 1999 and doctorate degree in 2003 at the same university. She became an associate professor in 2008 and full professor in 2013 in the Department of Public Relations, Faculty of Communications, Istanbul University. She has written three books, apart from various international articles and book chapters. Her studies focus on corporate communication and marketing communication, advertising, women’s studies, ethics, discourse analysis, culture and social policies.

Pınar Aslan is a PhD Candidate in the Faculty of Communication. She is writing a thesis on international public relations and the effect of television series. Pınar Aslan holds two BA degrees in comparative literature and public relations. Her MA thesis was on social media and public relations. Her research interests include pop culture, social media measurement, postmodernity, and intercultural communication.

Deniz Akbulut graduated from the Public Relations and Publicity Department at Marmara University, Faculty of Communication. She worked many years as a media and customer representative in various agencies. She worked as a Public Relations Manager in Beykent University and received her master’s degree from the Public Relations and Advertising Department at Kocaeli University in.
