1.4   Via Industry 4.0 towards Globalization 4.0

Abstract: Industrialization’s role in the progression between Industry 1.0 and reaching to recently popular Industry 4.0 and multidimensional outcomes of this situation have led to acceleration of globalization. In reality, every passed industry stage caused the globalization to move one stage further. A new process starts with transition to Industry 4.0. In the light of these mentioned matters, the purpose of this study, via explaining the relationship between industrialization stages and development of globalization, shall be to put forth the contributions of all these stages to globalization. Starting from this point of view, answers to questions such as whether globalization may reach a new stage together with Industry 4.0 and what the supporting matters of globalization may be shall be sought. In addition, possible first effects of this new stage on countries shall be tried to put forth. Understanding this new globalization stage and the positive or negative outcomes coming with it bear a crucial role for the countries and companies wishing to shine out in global competition.
