			Summary

The accounts of the building works and related documents for St. Stephen’s chapel in Westminster have been well known by specialists as early as the eighteenth century, but up until now have been only partially printed. This impressive edition provides full access, in Latin and with an English facing translation, of a significant body of reference work that draws from earlier scholarship and contributes to current studies, both of St. Stephen’s and medieval building practices generally.
