Yuan Li is the Executive Dean of the Institute of International Studies, Shandong University. His research focuses on political economy, institutional economics, and area studies. He has conducted extensive research on the BRI. Jamal Khan is an Associate Professor at the Institute of International Studies, Shandong University. His research focuses on international trade, structural change, and climate policies, with a particular emphasis on the BRI. He analyzes the impact of BRI investments on regional development, trade, environmental outcomes, and explores the impact of trade (WTO) and climate regulations on CBAM.
