This series focuses on the political, economic and cultural changes in Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union. It offers a platform for interdisciplinary research on this multifaceted part of the world. The focus lies mainly on current and recent developments in societies and political systems; but research on cultural and historical backgrounds has its place here, too. The range of disciplines includes political science, history, and social anthropology, but also philosophy, cultural studies, and literary criticism. The articles are written in English. The "Central and Eastern European Forum for Legal, Political, and Social Theory Yearbook" publishes studies on European and International Law. Besides, many of the articles refer to aspects of history and political sciences. Topics include (among others) public international law, moral philosophy, legal positivism and political theory. Eastern European Studies in Musicology

This publication series was established with the aim of spreading the leading achievements of Polish, Central and Eastern European musicologists active in various fields of musicology. These fields include music history and musical traditions, ethnomusicology and musical anthropology, as well as music sociology, aesthetics and philosophy. The series will feature different genres: monographic works, collections of essays, articles and dissertations by a single author, as well as collective works and scientific conference proceedings. The editorial team will be working not only with renowned scholars but also young post-doctoral authors. Authors who arrive at music from different fields of the humanities in the context of interdisciplinary studies are also encouraged.

The series "Thought, Society, Culture: Slovenian and South Eastern European Perspectives" explores languages, cultures, and societies of Central and South Eastern Europe, with a special focus on Slovenia. Its titles and topics present significant works of the Research Centre of the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts (ZRC SAZU) whose multidisciplinary structure brings together philosophy, social anthropology, archaeology, general and cultural history, art history, musicology, linguistics, literary studies, sociology, ethnology, folklore, and geography. The aim of the series is to publish in-depth studies in the humanities and social sciences produced not only by ZRC SAZU but also by other scholars from Slovenia and elsewhere.

New Approaches in Educational and Social Sciences / Neue Denkansätze in den Bildungs- und Sozialwissenschaften

The series presents a broad spectrum of research results from the field of education, encompassing contributions from Eastern European countries. In addition to educational science, the monographs and anthologies, written in German or English, explore topics from various disciplines such as sociology, philosophy, and political science. Up to volume 38, the series was published under the title "Baltische Studien zur Erziehungs- und Sozialwissenschaft / Baltic Studies in Educational and Social Sciences". Die Schriftenreihe bietet ein breites Themenspektrum von Forschungsergebnissen aus der Pädagogik - unter anderem auch aus osteuropäischen Ländern. Neben erziehungswissenschaftlichen Aspekten fließen auch Themen aus anderen Fachbereichen, unter anderem der Soziologie, Philosophie und Politikwissenschaft, in die auf Deutsch oder Englisch verfassten Monographien und Sammelbände ein. Bis Band 38 erschien die Reihe unter dem Titel "Baltische Studien zur Erziehungs- und Sozialwissenschaft / Baltic Studies in Educational and Social Sciences".
