  • Court Cultures of the Middle Ages and Renaissance

    ISSN: 2296-4118

Court Cultures of the Middle Ages and Renaissance is a peer-reviewed series focused on the inter- and multi-disciplinary cultural output of medieval and Renaissance court culture on an international scale. The series invites proposals for single- and multi-authored monographs, edited collections and editions of early works relating to the court. Prospective authors are encouraged to submit proposals which highlight the central importance of the court to medieval and Renaissance culture, including projects that explore the life and/or works of writers, artists, historiographers, soldiers, composers, diplomats and courtiers, in the East as well as the West. Other areas of particular interest are courtly ritual (e.g. chivalric code, ceremonies, spectacle) and literary and artistic representations of the court. The series will also explore the role of the court in shaping national, religious and political identities, as well as its function as an interface between different cultures. The series is affiliated with the Trinity Centre for Medieval and Renaissance Studies, Trinity College Dublin. Each proposal is vetted by the Editorial Board and Chief Editor and undergoes a comprehensive peer-review process.

  • People of Print

New Histories in the Book and Print Trades

People of Print: New Histories in the Book and Print Trades is a platform for new scholarship focusing on the people behind the global print trade. The series reveals the untold stories of printers, publishers, booksellers and cultural intermediaries who have shaped the literary and cultural history of print networks worldwide. It expands the field through fresh perspectives on overlooked individuals, places and periods. People of Print offers a forum for both emergent and established international researchers to disseminate their scholarship. Proposals are welcome for monographs, biographies and edited collections that challenge established narratives and highlight the diversity of the book and print trades. The primary language of publication is English. All projects will undergo rigorous peer review.

  • Spanish Golden Age Studies

    ISSN: 2297-5225

This series publishes titles on the Golden Age, including but not limited to studies on the New World, the imperial wars, internal strife, visual arts, the popular theatre and prose fiction. Our remit is to provide an outlet for new socio-historical and cultural research on the Early-Modern period, a time when Spain could for the first and last time lay claim to being the world’s leading military, economic and political power. The series is particularly interested in reflections on how cultural production both reflected and shaped the age that ostensibly brought it forth. We welcome both monographs and edited collections in English or Spanish. Editorial Advisory Board: Dr Jonathan Bradbury (University of Exeter) Dr Maria Czepiel (University of Warwick) Professor Barbara Fuchs (UCLA) Professor Enrique García Santo-Tomás (University of Michigan) Dr Stuart Green (University of Leeds) Professor Javier Huerta Calvo (Universidad Complutense de Madrid) Dr Anne Holloway (Queen's University, Belfast) Professor Jeremy Lawrance (University of Oxford) Professor Rosa Navarro Durán (Universidad de Barcelona) Dr John Rutherford (The Queen's College, University of Oxford) Dr Guillermo Gómez Sánchez-Ferrer (Universidad Complutense de Madrid) Professor Elizabeth Wright (University of Georgia)
