Die Reihe "Mahler-Studien. Schriftenreihe der Gustav Mahler Vereinigung Hamburg" präsentiert musikwissenschaftliche Forschungsergebnisse zu Gustav Mahler. Sie beleuchtet Aspekte seiner Biographie, seiner geistigen Welt und seines Schaffens ebenso wie die Beziehungen zu Zeitgenossen, die Rezeption seines Werkes durch spätere Komponisten und sein Wirken als Opern- und Konzertdirigent. Die Reihe publiziert Sammel- und Tagungsbände, steht jedoch auch geeigneten Habilitationsschriften, Dissertationen und anderen Monographien offen. Sie wird herausgegeben von dem Musikwissenschaftler Alexander Odefey.

Die Reihe TAUSCH analysiert sprach- und literaturwissenschaftliche Ansätze der TextAnalyse für Universität und SCHule, die in Monografien, auch Qualifikationsarbeiten, oder Sammelwerken präsentiert werden. Die Ansätze sollen zwei Ansprüchen genügen, der Innovativität und der Anwendbarkeit. Methodische Einschränkungen würden dem Ziel der Reihe widersprechen, die sich auf Beiträge, freut, die auf dieser Plattform zur Diskussion gestellt werden wollen.

Hallesche Sprach- und Textforschung / Language and Text Studies / Recherches linguistiques et textuelles

The series Language and Text Studies publishes works of a broad range of research on aspects of language and text, including English, French, German, Slavonic and Baltic studies. Although its central perspective is linguistic in nature, publications also encompass literary and cultural studies. The series comprises monographs as well as anthologies. The editors Alexander Brock and Katrin Schlund are linguists at the English and Slavonic Departments of Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg. La collection Recherches linguistiques et textuelles publie des travaux relevant de la philologie des langues modernes (anglais, langues romanes, allemand, langues slaves et baltes) dans une optique linguistique. Elle s'adresse également aux travaux de recherches littéraires et interdisciplinaires portant sur l'analyse textuelle. Elle publie des monographies, mémoires de recherche, recueils thématiques et actes de colloques. Les éditeurs Alexander Brock et Katrin Schlund sont des linguistes spécialisés aux langues anglaise et slaves, travaillants à l'université Martin-Luther de Halle-Wittenberg. In der Reihe Hallesche Sprach- und Textforschung erscheinen Studien aus dem Bereich moderner Philologien (u.a. Anglistik, Romanistik, Germanistik, Slavistik, Baltistik) mit meist linguistischem Schwerpunkt. Sie ist auch offen für literaturwissenschaftlich-textbezogene und interdisziplinäre Arbeiten. Hier erscheinen Monografien und Qualifikationsarbeiten ebenso wie thematische Sammelbände und Kongressakten. Die Herausgeber:innen Alexander Brock und Katrin Schlund sind Sprachwissenschaftler:innen mit den Schwerpunkten Anglistik und Slavistik an der Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg.

Die Buchreihe Trierer Studien zur Slavistik präsentiert Studien aus dem Fachbereich der slavistischen Literatur- und Sprachwissenschaft. Sie widmet sich interdisziplinär Themengebieten wie z. B. dem Russischen Symbolismus, der Russischen (Religions-)Philosophie, der Russischen Lyrik des 20. und 21. Jahrhunderts, der theoretischen und angewandten Linguistik sowie der soziolinguistischen Forschung.

CEAUP Studies on Africa

Still-existing gaps in the current knowledge on Africa are an opportunity for collective scientific efforts: if formerly stable academic boundaries can be transgressed, then these lacunas may provide a good chance to advance with new interdisciplinary designs. CEAUP (Centre of African Studies of the Porto University) is an interdisciplinary research centre working on African issues. This series allows the discussion of CEAUP’s efforts in a larger, international context. The studies to be included focus on subjects regarded as especially innovative and which may help our understanding of African current impasses: – Identity and group conflict – Patterns of change in production and labour relationships, notably forced labour – Access to natural resources, such as water, land and raw materials – State building and ‘civil society’ The series accepts monographs, collected papers and conference proceedings in English. Rechtspolitisches Symposium

Die Buchreihe Rechtspolitisches Symposium bietet ein Forum für Monographien, Tagungs- und Sammelbände aus der Rechtswissenschaft, insbesondere zum internationalen Rechtsvergleich und zum Staats- und Verfassungsrecht. Im Fokus stehen dabei unter anderem Fragen zu Recht und Islam, zu Sicherheitsrecht und den Menschenrechten. Die Reihe erscheint in deutscher und englischer Sprache.

Emerging Markets Studies

The Peter Lang series Emerging Markets Studies includes works which address opportunities, problems, and challenges of socio-economic development and reform in so-called emerging markets. These comprise middle-income developing and transition economies which are relevant for the world economy due to a large market potential, a favorable or improving investment climate, or due to the availability of important natural resources. Emerging markets have realized or show the potential to generate sustained socio-economic development and growth processes over time. The volumes in this series seek to address three key questions: What are the determinants of successful socio-economic development, What are appropriate reform strategies to overcome impediments to catching-up processes, and how do politico-institutional factors affect the performance of an emerging economy? The scope of the series is comparative, institutionalist, and international. The overall focus of all titles is to enhance the understanding of socio-economic catching-up processes and their institutional foundations from a political-economy perspective. Due to the complexity of development processes and policy reform, various methodological tools and academic approaches may prove to be appropriate. Hence the series includes contributions from various disciplines such as economics, political science, or sociology.
