The series Linguistica Philologica aims to foster dialogue across boundaries among the different fields and paradigms of linguistics in a broad philological and historical context. The edited volumes, monographs, and congress proceedings cover the linguistics of the entire spectrum of languages, focusing on describing and explaining languages as systems, the oral and written use of language, and language variation, its precipitating factors and outcomes. The double-blind peer-reviewed volumes are published in English, French, Spanish, German, and Russian. Die Publikationsreihe Linguistica Philologica will den Dialog über die Grenzen der unterschiedlichen Bereiche und Paradigmen der Sprachwissenschaft hinweg in einem breiten philologischen und historischen Kontext fördern. Die Sammelbände, Monographien und Kongressdokumentationen beziehen sich auf das gesamte Spektrum der linguistischen Philologien, mit Fokus auf die Beschreibung und Erklärung von sprachlichen Systemen, den mündlichen und schriftlichen Gebrauch der Sprachen sowie die sprachliche Variation, deren auslösende Faktoren und Ergebnisse. Die im double-blind Verfahren begutachteten Bände erscheinen in deutscher, englischer, französischer, spanischer und russischer Sprache.

Kontrastive Linguistik / Linguistica contrastiva

Ziel der Reihe ist es, Monographien und Sammelbände zur kontrastiven Sprachwissenschaft unter einem Dach zu vereinen. Im Bereich der Monographien ist dabei sowohl an Überblicksdarstellungen und Detailstudien als auch an Qualifikationsschriften (ab Dissertation bzw. tesi di dottorato) zu denken. Die Themen können aus den Bereichen Lexikologie und Semantik, Lexikographie, Phonologie, Grammatik, Pragmalinguistik, Textlinguistik, Diskursanalyse und Übersetzungswissenschaft stammen. Sie sollen methodisch und theoretisch und/oder empirisch sprachvergleichend ausgerichtet sein. Bei den zu untersuchenden Sprachen muss entweder Deutsch oder Italienisch eine der Vergleichsbasen sein. Arbeiten zu Deutsch und Italienisch sind ebenfalls sehr willkommen. Weitere Vergleichssprachen sind andere romanische Sprachen und das Englische. Die Anzahl der beteiligten Sprachen ist dabei nicht auf zwei begrenzt. La collana ospita pubblicazioni monografiche e miscellanee dedicate alla linguistica contrastiva. Come monografie possono essere pubblicati compendi e manuali di linguistica contrastiva, studi su temi specifici, tesi di dottorato (Dissertation) e di Habilitation. Gli ambiti tematici previsti sono: lessicologia e semantica, lessicografia, fonologia, grammatica, linguistica pragmatica, testuale e conversazionale, traduttologia. Le ricerche devono essere riconducibili a approcci metodologici, teorici ed empirici di stampo contrastivo. Lingue di contrasto potranno essere il tedesco o l’italiano. Altre lingue oggetto di studio su base contrastiva possono essere le lingue romanze e l’inglese. Altrettanto graditi saranno studi su italiano e tedesco e ricerche che tengano conto di più lingue. Moving Texts / Testi mobili

Moving Texts/Testi mobili questions Italian memory and identity from the perspective of literary and media studies, providing a forum for discussions on major research topics, including migration and mobility studies, cultural studies, cultural memory studies, film studies, translation studies and studies on linguistic attitudes and sociolinguistic changes. Moving Texts/Testi mobili is open to research conducted within established and emerging fields of investigation. It specifically promotes multi-perspective, multi-disciplinary and inter-medial approaches. The series uses double-blind peer review and is supported by an international advisory board. Proposals in Italian, French or English are welcome both for the main series (monographs and edited volumes), and for Moving Texts/Testi Mobili – Tandem, the sub-series for conjoined essays by two different authors. Potential contributors are invited to submit a book proposal consisting of an outline, a sample chapter and a CV. Only complete manuscripts following the series guidelines are accepted for peer review. *** Moving Texts/Testi mobili　indaga la memoria e l’identità italiana offrendo uno spazio aperto a ricerche su migrazione e mobilità, a studi culturali e sulla memoria culturale, nonché a saggi nei seguenti ambiti: letteratura, media, traduzioni, attitudini linguistiche e cambiamenti sociolinguistici. Moving Texts/Testi mobili promuove approcci multiprospettici, multidisciplinari e intermediali provenienti da aree disciplinari e metodologiche di consolidata tradizione così come di recente affermazione. La serie sottopone le pubblicazioni a procedure di peer review e si avvale di un comitato di redazione internazionale. Possono essere inoltrate proposte per la serie madre, che accoglie monografie e opere collettanee, o per la serie Moving Texts/Testi Mobili – Tandem, ciascun volume della quale ospita una coppia di saggi congiunti ma di due autori diversi. Proposte in italiano, francese o inglese possono essere inviate al comitato di direzione dagli autori o curatori interessati. Ogni proposta deve includere una sintesi del volume, un capitolo di esempio e il CV dell’autore o del curatore. La collection offre un espace de discussion sur les principaux sujets de recherche, proposant des études sur les migrations et la mobilité, la culture, la mémoire culturelle, les films, les traductions ainsi que les attitudes linguistiques et les changements sociolinguistiques. Moving Texts/Testi mobili accueille des travaux consacrés aussi bien à des champs traditionnels qu'émergents. Elle soutient particulièrement les perspectives multiples, la pluridisciplinarité et les approches croisées entre différents médias. La collection pratique un peer-review en double aveugle et est soutenue par un conseil scientifique international. Les propositions en italien, français et anglais sont les bienvenues aussi bien pour la collection principale (monographies et volumes collectifs) que pour Moving Texts/Testi Mobili – Tandem, la nouvelle sous-collection accueillant des essais conjoints de deux auteurs. This series aims to promote specialist language studies, both in the fields of linguistic theory and applied linguistics, by publishing volumes that focus on specific aspects of language use in one or several languages and provide valuable insights into language and communication research. A cross-disciplinary approach is favoured and most European languages are accepted. The series includes two types of books: Monographs – featuring in-depth studies on special aspects of language theory, language analysis or language teaching. La collection «Trans-Atlántico / Trans-Atlantique» accueille des travaux de recherche portant sur les migrations, les interactions et les échanges qui, depuis plus de cinq siècles, façonnent de manière plurielle les cultures des deux rives de l’Atlantique. En résonance avec le roman éponyme de Witold Gombrowicz, dont le titre inclut le trait d’union, cette collection se positionne comme un espace scientifique dédié à l’approfondissement d’une approche transculturelle des phénomènes étudiés. Elle offre un cadre privilégié pour l’analyse des dynamiques de dialogue et de confrontation entre les deux rives de l'Atlantique, tout en favorisant l’émergence de pratiques théoriques et créatives susceptibles d’interroger et de reconfigurer les paradigmes établis dans le domaine des études transculturelles. * * * La colección «Trans-Atlántico / Trans-Atlantique» reúne trabajos de investigación sobre las migraciones, interacciones e intercambios que, durante más de cinco siglos, han influido de manera plural en las culturas de ambas orillas del Atlántico. Potsdam Linguistic Investigations

"Die Publikationsreihe Potsdamer Linguistische Untersuchungen bietet ein Forum für die Bereiche der Linguistik, Germanistik, Anglistik, Romanistik, Slavistik und Baltistik sowie der Balkanistik. Die Monographien, Tagungs- und Sammelbände der Reihe widmen sich dabei dem gesamten linguistischen Spektrum, mit Schwerpunkten auf Syntax, Semantik, Pragmatik und Sprachphilosophie. Die Bände erscheinen in deutscher und englischer Sprache. Die Qualität der in dieser Reihe erscheinenden Arbeiten wird vor der Publikation durch einen externen, von der Herausgeberschaft benannten Gutachter im Double Blind Verfahren geprüft. Dabei ist der Autor der Arbeit dem Gutachter während der Prüfung namentlich nicht bekannt; der Gutachter bleibt anonym."

Fondo Hispánico de Lingüística y Filología

La presente colección se hace eco del interés creciente en lingüística hispánica y aborda todos los enfoques teóricos que constituyen hoy día esta materia. Asume el objetivo básico de reunir, bajo un mismo criterio científico riguroso y un mismo epígrafe, la publicación y difusión de un conjunto de obras y trabajos de investigación, tanto de autores consagrados como de jóvenes lingüistas. Sus títulos se dirigen a un público amplio, que va desde el especialista avanzado hasta el estudiante en general que se interesa por un determinado tema o enfoque. De esta manera, la colección aspira a consolidarse como una referencia importante dentro de las diversas disciplinas que integran la lingüística hispánica.

German Linguistic and Cultural Studies

At a time when German Studies faces a serious challenge to its identity and position in the European and international context, this new series aims to reflect the increasing importance of both culture (in the widest sense) and linguistics to the study of German in Britain and Ireland. GLCS will publish monographs and collections of essays of a high scholarly standard which deal with German in its socio-cultural context, in multilingual and multicultural settings, in its European and international context and with its use in the media. The series will also explore the impact on German society of particular ideas, movements and economic trends and will discuss curriculum provision and development in universities in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland. Contributions in English or German will be welcome.
