Caribbean Studies

Caribbean Studies treats all aspects of Caribbean culture and society, including, but not necessarily limited to, literatures, history, film, music, art, geography, politics, languages, and social sciences. Studies may focus on European, Amerindian, African, or Asian heritages or on a combination of any/all of the above. Linear and chronological approaches, as well as comparative studies are welcome. Places and/or cultures under study may include English-, Spanish-, French-, or Dutch-speaking areas in any time frame or discipline. Manuscripts may be written in English, Spanish, or French, preferably in the language in which the author feels most comfortable. Studies may be on contemporary or previous periods and, if appropriate, can draw comparisons with other global regions.

Die Reihe “Militärhistorische Untersuchungen“ widmet sich innerhalb der Geschichtswissenschaft dem Thema der Militärgeschichte. Die Monographien und Sammelbände der Reihe befassen sich unter anderem mit Kriegsgeschichte seit der Frühen Neuzeit, Biographien von Angehörigen der deutschen Streitkräfte des 19. und 20. Jahrhunderts und Wirtschafts- und Sozialgeschichte im militärischen Zusammenhang.

Die Reihe "Familienrechtliche Untersuchungen" veröffentlichte aktuelle Studien aus dem Bereich der Rechtswissenschaft. In den Monographien werden insbesondere Themen aus den Gebieten Bürgerliches Recht, Staatsrecht, Strafrecht sowie Arbeits- und Sozialrecht behandelt. Die Reihe wurde im November 2022 eingestellt.

Studi Pergolesiani / Pergolesi Studies

Studi Pergolesiani / Pergolesi Studies is a series founded and conceived by Francesco Degrada. The first issue (1986), were the proceedings of the first conference on Giovanni Battista Pergolesi held in Jesi in 1983. Other conference proceedings followed, all with studies on Pergolesi, until the sixth issue was published in 2011. The series, now published by Peter Lang, continues under the aegis of the Fondazione Pergolesi Spontini of Jesi, which promotes studies, editions and modern performances of music by Pergolesi. Erano qui raccolti i contributi del primo convegno dedicato a Giovanni Battista Pergolesi tenutosi a Jesi nel 1983. Ad esso seguirono altri Atti di convegni con studi di soggetto pergolesiano, fino al sesto numero pubblicato nel 2011. La serie ora prosegue con l’editore Peter Lang, sempre sotto l’egida della Fondazione Pergolesi Spontini di Jesi che promuove gli studi, le edizioni e le esecuzioni moderne delle musiche di Pergolesi. The monographs and anthologies present studies in the field of German and Scandinavian literature and linguistics. They address both contemporary literature and the works of past eras. The series is edited by Prof. Dr. Kathrin Chlench-Priber and Priv.-Doz. Dr. Thomas Fechner-Smarsly.
