Dans cette collection sont présentés, traduits et commentés des textes anciens sur des thèmes centraux de la théologie, des doctrines, de la culture, de la spiritualité du christianisme des premiers siècles. Les extraits sont tirés principalement d’œuvres rédigées en grec ou en latin. L’édition en est donnée dans la langue originale et elle est accompagnée d’une traduction en langue moderne. Les œuvres retenues appartiennent aux cinq premiers siècles, mais certains sujets peuvent imposer le choix de textes plus tardifs. In Traditio Christina werden frühe Texte zu zentralen Themen der Geschichte des antiken Christentums, der Kultur und Theologie präsentiert, übersetzt und kommentiert. Der Grossteil der Exzerpte stammt aus griechischen und lateinischen Quellen. Die Editionen sind zweisprachig und enthalten die Originalversion sowie deren Übersetzung ins Französische oder Deutsche. Berücksichtigt werden Werke aus den ersten fünf Jahrhunderten, wobei gewisse Themen auch Texte späteren Datums erfordern können.

Early Christianity in the Context of Antiquity

The series ECCA (Early Christianity in the Context of Antiquity) seeks to publish monographs and edited volumes that take as their theme early Christianity and its connections with the religion(s) and culture(s) of antiquity and late antiquity. Special attention is given to the interactions between religion and culture, as well as to the influences that diverse religions and cults had on one another. Works published in ECCA extend chronologically from the second century B.C.E. to the fifth century C.E. and geographically across the expanse of the Roman empire and its immediate neighbors. Prior to publication, the quality of the work published in this series is reviewed by the editors of the series and by members of the academic advisory board. Proposals are welcome for mongraphs or edited volumes. Those interested in contributing to the series should send a detailed project outline to one of the series editors or to editorial@peterlang.com. Die Reihe ECCA (Early Christianity in the Context of Antiquity) zielt auf die Publikation von Monographien und Sammelbänden, die sich thematisch mit dem frühen Christentum und seinen Beziehungen zu Religion(en) und Kultur(en) der Antike und Spätantike befassen. Dabei gilt das besondere Augenmerk den Wechselwirkungen, die Religion und Kultur aufeinander ausüben, sowie den Einflüssen, die die verschiedenen Religionen und Kulte aufeinander hatten. Zeitlich erstrecken sich die in ECCA publizierten Arbeiten auf das 2. Jh. v. Chr. bis zum 5. Jh. n.Chr., geographisch auf den Raum des Imperium Romanum und seiner unmittelbaren Nachbarn. Die Qualität der in dieser Reihe erscheinenden Arbeiten wird vor der Publikation durch die Herausgeber der Reihe sowie durch Mitglieder des Wissenschaftlichen Beirates geprüft. Katowice Interdisciplinary and Comparative Studies

This newly launched series creates the opportunity for those scholars who, on the one hand, wish to see literary works in the unceasing dialogue with other arts and, on the other, want to rethink literary theory in terms of its embededness in the reflection which involves notions crucial for the shape of contemporary human community such as democracy, justice, friendship, hospitality, home, passions, and many others. Thus we invite essays on a wide range of topics which include studies of individual texts placing them in a rich web of comparative references not turning away from the body-politic, interpretations of texts and images as important ways towards the formation of cultural identity, explorations of the dialogue between the word and the image with the complicated transpositions taking place in the process, as well as in-depth investigations of particular notions in their historical and multicultural contexts. The analyses undertaken by the authors in this series will make a serious contribution to a better understanding of the notions and processes constituting our being together. Bible in the Christian Orthodox Tradition

This series aims at exploring and evaluating the various aspects of biblical traditions as studied, understood, taught, and lived in the Christian communities that spoke and wrote – and some continue speaking and writing – in the Aramaic, Arabic, Armenian, Coptic, Georgian, Romanian, Syriac, and other languages of the Orthodox family of churches. A particular focus of this series is the incorporation of the various methodologies and hermeneutics used for centuries in these Christian communities, into the contemporary critical approaches, in order to shed light on understanding the message of the Bible. Each monograph in the series will engage in critical examination of issues raised by contemporary biblical research. Scholars in the fields of biblical text, manuscripts, canon, hermeneutics, theology, lectionary, Apocrypha and Pseudepigrapha will have an enormous opportunity to share their academic findings with a worldwide audience. Manuscripts and dissertations, incorporating a variety of approaches and methodologies to studying the Bible in the Eastern and Oriental Orthodox traditions – including, but not limited to, theological, historiographic, philological and literary – are welcome. Beiträge zur Geschichte des Deutschunterrichts

Ein noch immer zentrales und grundlegendes Unterrichtsfach wie Deutsch spiegelt wie kaum ein anderes den "Geist der Zeiten" (Goethe) wider. Fachgeschichte ist damit eine zentrale Aufgabe der Fachdidaktik, die über historische Bestandsaufnahmen hinaus auch Orientierungen für Gegenwart und Zukunft unserer gesamten sprachlich-literarischen Kommunikationskultur bietet. Die von Joachim S. Hohmann 1988 begründete, von Bodo Lecke weitergeführte und von Christian Dawidowski herausgegebene Schriftenreihe thematisiert die Bedeutung des Faches aus wissenschaftlichen, unterrichtspraktischen, gesellschafts- und bildungspolitischen Perspektiven – insbesondere in Gestalt von Spezialmonografien, Habilitationsschriften, Dissertationen, Forschungsberichten und Sammelwerken. Die Qualität der in dieser Reihe erscheinenden Arbeiten wird vor der Publikation durch den Herausgeber der Reihe geprüft.

Zentrales Anliegen der „Schriftenreihe des Instituts für Management und Tourismus“ ist es, im Bereich der Betriebswirtschaftslehre bei wissenschaftlicher Fundierung tourismusbezogene Erkenntnisse mit Anwendungsorientierung und Problemlösungsanspruch zu vermitteln. Die Reihe zeigt anhand konkreter Fragestellungen beispielhaft auf, wie die Tourismuswirtschaft neuen Marktkonstellationen und komplexen Herausforderungen begegnen kann. Das Spektrum der Veröffentlichungen reicht von Projekt- und Forschungsberichten bis hin zu Sammelbänden mit Artikeln von Wissenschaftlern und Praktikern. Analog zur Betrachtung des interdisziplinären Forschungsgegenstandes Tourismus an der Fachhochschule Westküste und dem dort angesiedelten Institut für Management und Tourismus liegt der Reihe ein betriebswirtschaftlicher Fokus zugrunde. Unter diesem konzeptionellen Dach fungiert die „Schriftenreihe des IMT“ als zentrale touristische Veröffentlichungsplattform der Fachhochschule Westküste.

Beiträge zur Literatur- und Mediendidaktik

Die 2001 von Bodo Lecke begründete und von Christian Dawidowski und Irene Pieper herausgegebene Buchreihe versammelt aktuelle Beiträge zur Literatur- und Mediendidaktik in Form von Monographien oder Sammelbänden. Schwerpunkte liegen in der didaktischen Theoriebildung, der Vorstellung und Diskussion empirischer Untersuchungen und dem interkulturellen und transkulturellen Literatur- und Medienunterricht. Die Reihe versteht sich auch als Forum für Arbeiten, die der intermedialen Verbindung bzw. Integration von fachunterrichtlich orientierter Literaturdidaktik und fachübergreifender Medienpädagogik und Medienerziehung gelten. Darüber hinaus finden fachgeschichtlich gewachsene Traditionen Berücksichtigung.

Im Mittelpunkt der Reihe Sprachentwicklung - Verlauf, Störung, Diagnostik, Intervention steht Sprache in ihrer Entwicklung und Ausdifferenzierung. Sprachentwicklung beginnt nicht erst mit dem ersten intentional und sinnvoll gebrauchten Wort. Schon vor dem Geburtsschrei, der stimmlichen Initialzündung, werden pränatal die ersten Grundlagen zur Ausbildung oraler Sprache gelegt, auf denen das präverbale Stadium im 1. Lebensjahr aufbaut. Strukturell geht es in der Reihe um Stadien und Besonderheiten der primären und sekundären Sprachentwicklung sowie um Varianten und Abweichungen mit Krankheitswert. Einen Schwerpunkt bilden Sprachstörungen im Kindesalter, ihre Prävention, Diagnostik und Therapie. Erklärungsansätze zu Facetten des Spracherwerbs sowie empirische Ergebnisse relevanter Studien sind weitere Schwerpunkte.
