Echoing the eponymous novel by Witold Gombrowicz, whose title includes the hyphen, the collection positions itself as an academic platform for advancing a transcultural approach to the phenomena under investigation. It provides a structured framework for analyzing the dynamics of dialogue and confrontation between the two shores of the Atlantic, while fostering the development of theoretical and creative practices aimed at questioning and reconfiguring established paradigms within the field of transcultural studies.
